Non-member able to check reservation?

If I rent points from a member, am I able to confirm the reservation directly with DVC or must I simply trust that the member has done this? Thanks for any advice.

You can call Member services with confirmation # to check on reservation
You should also request a copy of the written confirmation issued by Disney from the renter.

After the renter books everything he or she should give you a confirmation number. Some will give the # to you prior to even receiving a deposit. Once you have the confirmation number you can check on the ressie you just won't be able to change anything as far as days or room upgrade. But you can add Disney Dining, Magical Express, and theme park tickets if need be. You are entitled to the confirmation number and yes there is a level of trust between renters and rentees.
