Victoria & Albert's at Grand Floridian.

They have been known to take kids, of course, but it is usually in PAYMENT...

as in "this meal will cost your first-born child, plus tax." ;)

(Seriously, Victoria & Albert's only serves guests 10 years and older.)

.

1) Victoria and Albert's

Do you have kids, or are you trying to avoid kids? Look for the pricier restaurants, they would tend to have less kids. If you have kids, they are pretty much welcome anywhere.

sorry!I meant to post this in the restaurant section.um.....how do you delete a thread?

Yachtsman Steakhouse-Yachtclub(this one isnt as upscale as the first two)

I have kids I'm just trying to avoid restaurants that will make them uncomfortable because they are the only kids there

It's cool -- it happens all the time. People need to eat in the parks too, though.

BTW, :welcome: to the Dis!

And to answer your original question, the only restaurants you'd really have to worry about are not in the theme parks -- they're at the WDW resorts.

With the exception of V & A's, you will see kids in pretty much every restaurant, at surprizingly late hours!

Only been once but I found Citricos to be fairly quiet. Had an ADR for about 5:30 and we were seated alone by a window which was nice - Of course there were families with kids but at the time they were seated in a different area.

For your first trip, I would reccommend a character meal. We like to do a character breakfast on our first day to get into the mood! Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary has been one of our favorites so far. From there, you can hop the monorail to MK or Epcot for the day.

oh,what about ohana, jiko, boma and whispering canyon cafe?

Except for V & A's, there are kids at every Disney restaurant, regardless of expense or atmosphere. Honestly, someone should really call an exterminator!!

It's worth it, though.

Lot's of kids in Shula's, honestly the only problem with kids is the parents who can't control them or refuse to walk to them out when they are acting up. So personally I have no issue with kids it's the parents that need a clue.

My thoughts exactly! I don't want to hear kids screaming whether it is a "kids" place or an "adults" place!

By the way...we take our kids (including baby) to Yachtsman every year (it's one of our faves!) We have also taken them to Cali Grill and Narcoosee's. Everywhere in the world is "kid friendly" except Victoria and Albert's

We were in Shula's in february and we only saw one family with kids, two little girls about 6 and 8ish. It was very fancy in there and at 14 I felt out of place

I understand that every place in disney will have kids and are kid friendly so I listed the three places where I've seen the least amount of kids

There were no kids at Shulas when we went in December and we had a fairly early reservation - 7:00PM
