I already know that non guests are not allowed to use the pools, but here is an exception which I think will be OK, but just wanted to check to see what everyone thought.
My wife's friend, her husband and 15 yr old daughter are coming for a week and are staying at the Contemporary. During the week, her husband has to drive to Miami for 2 days of meetings and is going to stay overnight. So my wife is thinking of staying one day with her friend. Essentially, no extra people will be using the facilities since the husband won't be there. Can my wife use his room key as ID if asked by a CM while she is at the pool? Does she need to check in at the front desk, even though she is not staying overnight?

We are paying quite a bit to stay in the cabins and the pool there leaves a lot to be desired. I hear they are upgrading it though.
