Non-greasy sunscreen for wedding day

Hi all,

I'm sure I've read this subject on here before, so sorry for repeating but search isn't bringing up what I'm looking for!

I am very fair skinned, so I generally wear factor 50 when I'm in Florida. I was wondering what would be the best sunscreen to use that wouldn't stain my wedding dress?

On a related note, what do you guys wear to protect your face? Last time I went my skin ended up really greasy and I got a lot of spots. I've had facials and all sorts to clear up my skin, so I don't really want to spoil it in the week before the wedding!

I'm fair skinned too!

I use La Roche Posay Anthelios XL SPF 50+ Fluide Extreme on my face because it protects against UVA and UVB rays, and that particular formulation is more matte on your skin. Also, I've never had it stain my clothes. You'd have to buy this in the UK before you come - it isn't sold in our drugstores.

For body, I use Coppertone Continuous Sunscreen Spray, Water Babies SPF 50 - the kind in the pink can - because the kind in the blue can, while clear, leaves a weird residue that you're not supposed to rub, and I worry it will get on my clothes. The baby kind is a lotion that you can rub into your skin. You can get it at most drugstores in the States.

Hi! I have very very white skin, and I use Neutrogena 70 with helioplex. It stays dry and never greasy even when I'm really hot. Good luck and congrats!

Well, I do use the blue can stuff sometimes, but it just never seems to dry all the way.
