Non Floral Decor Ideas for Guest Tables

Hey everyone!

So I'm filling out the questionnaire for Disney (the long one that you give prior to the Planning Session)...and I'm trying to get some ideas for decor that isnt flowers to go on the tables. I like the idea of candles, but what else? Did anyone else do anything different? I remember reading one bride's pj who had, lanterns I think, I thought that was cool. If you did something non floral, can you please post a picture, cost, etc. Thanks!

For my dad's 80th birthday, we decorated tables with photo cubes and inexpensive frames filled with photos of my dad...and whomever. Folks had fun finding pictures of themselves and remembering fun times. Also made great conversation starters. We also encouraged visiting other tables to check out other photos - instant mingling. You could also offer the photos as favors...

Thank you! I bought these planters from Michael's, then ordered various shells from eBay, got some fake plants that reminded me of the plants by the beach. A little hot glue, foam and floral picks and wallah (sp)! I added fake plumeria that I got from this site: http://www.plumeriasweddingflowerboutique.com/

I'm actually the bride on the homepage along with my two bridesmaids!

KStarfish82's centerpiece is very nice!!!

Since you're in Disney, do as Disney does and get some Disney characters as your centerpiece. You can name the tables like the centerpiece too...like Minne table, Pooh's Table...etc... Sorry don't have a picture...just my imagination

i've seen center pieces with floating candles and with petals and crystals on the table.

I had 2 different types of lanterns at 2 different meals. One was a "street lamp" type, and one was a hanging one covered in ivy ( I think that is the best way to describe it). I'll look for pictures later and post them!
