Hey everyone

I was wondering whether some you disney experts out there could give me pointers on where to eat for our trip.

My BF and brother are fussy eaters, kinda meat and potato guys. They dont like fancy food, or sauces on their food.

I dont wanna be eating chicken and fries meals from counter service places for our whole trip.

Any ideas?

Here are the kinda things they like

Steak and potatoes
Pasta and meatballs
Chicken
Mac n cheese
Pizza
Chinese Noodle Dishes
Fish

We have ADRs for Chef Mickeys and Crystal Palace. We also have one for Rose Crown but i may cancel this as Ive heard many poor reviews.

So can anyone recommend some CS places or TS places that dont require ADR's?

I'm a very plain eater myself.

I know ESPN does not accept ADRs and we always enjoy our meals there(love the nachos)

Although they do accept ADRs, for steak and potatoes I highly recommeend Yachtsman Steakhouse. My favorite there is prime rib with horseradish mashed potatoes. Amazing!

We have a fussy eater in our family too! Here are some suggestion.
Anything can be made plain just make sure you ask for all sauces on the side.

Yacht Club Galley- their food is wonderful
The Plaza or Beaches & Cream- fussy eaters usually love a good burger
Rose & Crown- great Fish & Chips (but other than that not picky eater friendly)
LeCellier- great steaks
Whispering Canyon- avoid the skillet, regular menu has some good basic meals
Trail's End - great bargain buffet for either dinner or breakfast
Kona- best food on property for dinner or breakfast, they will love the stickey wings!
Nine Dragons- standard good chinese food, most people like General Tao's Chicken. Make your own choice, this is one of those people either love or hate...we love it.

Hope these help!

I can concur with these. Trail's End IS a nice little secret. Great buffet, plenty of "regular food" to eat at a great price.

You could try Prime Time Cafe. The food is basic American fare, but it's pretty good, and it's a really fun atmosphere.

VERY easy solution to this. My husband hates special sauces and things he can't pronounce. He orders everything with just want he wants. Special red wine reduction sauce on his steak? Not for him so he gets that taken off and asks for ketchup (he's barbaric, I know). Seasonal vegetables as a side? No way. He looks at all the other sides and asks for a substitute. Fries and/or rice are usually available. Salad with blue cheese crumbles? No. He gets his salads without tomatoes, onions, cucumber, mushrooms, radishes, and anything else he doesn't want. Some sort of vinagerette dressing? No - he asks for alternatives. Ranch is usually available.

He does this not only at Disney World but at every restaurant we go to. And he's never been turned down or treated like a second class citizen.

You will need an ADR, but try Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner. You get turkey, ham, roast beef (all plain), gravy, stuffing, mac and cheese and mashed potatoes and green beans. Your guys should love all of this; we thought it was very good! I like my green beans cooked a little more, but that's the country girl in me that wants them cooked to death with some fatback in there! The bread is very good, too. The only thing they probably won't want is the strawberry vinegrette on the salad. It was wonderful, but I'm sure they could serve it on the side. Good luck!

A second vote for Yacht Club Galley. DS complained that so many of the resturaunts had Foo-Foo food, until he got to YCG. He loved it! And he made a reservation there about 15 minutes before he ate (called as he was leaving BWV).
