Just called Disney Ticket Services this morning. Had purchased 5 Day dated tickets for this past Nov Trip... so that after the trip the entire family would have the same number of non expiring days left (7) on our non expiring park hoppers. Checked on the last day of the trip and sure enough- my son had seven days left on the non expiring but my daughter only had six days left. The Disney ticketing system burned one of her non expiring days instead of the dated ticket for that week, but worked correctly for my son. I know I had the dated tickets attached to the park reservations correctly because I got caught in that mess where all of your park reservations disappeared when they did an IT update- and I had to remake all of my park reservations, with the new feature where you indicate which ticket it should pull from. Even after a trip to Guest Services while I was still there, and the phone call this morning- Disney is refusing to issue a comp ticket with the missing non expiring day- they will only give me a "Transaction Number" which I have to remember that I have, it doesn't show in MDE, then requires me to call Disney Ticket Services at 7am and wait on hold at some date in the future when I will want to use the non expiring ticket. The CM did advise that their new system will always want to use the " highest dollar value ticket" on the account- regardless of ticket prioritizing. This is absolutely a mechanism put into place by Disney to rob non expiring ticket holders of their purchased and held tickets. How many people are not going to notice?
