Non-DVCer wanting Dining Plan at a Villa

Our family of 9 is looking at staying at Disney World in a 3 bedroom Villa in Feburary 2014. We do not have a DVC but want to stay at a Villa. Would we qualify for free dining packages since we are hoping to get a Villa? I know DVCer's can't get the package but would it still be an option for us?

Assuming your staying as a resort guest, yes, you can get the DDP. I've done this several times. As for free dining, it depends on of the resort you're interested in is included and if there are rooms available in your category.

Definitely for paid dining. For free dining, maybe, as long as that type of room is available for the promotion. You could also look into renting points from a DVC member and buying the dining plan through them.
