non disney shopping

Hello

Can anyone reccommend a good 'non-Disney' shopping Centre? I would like to give one day of our 2 weeks at Disney over to shopping as I'm sure we will see lots of things we can't get in England and I am a shopaholic!

As we have 5 year old twins who don't have my passion for shopping, ideally I would make my own way somewhere - which is quite a scary thought! Alternatively somewhere with a reccommended 'creche' for the children would be good. Any ideas?

There are 2 outlets near Downtown Disney. Also, the Florida Mall is really nice and pretty big, with a large selection of stores.

Well Orlando is a shopping mecha'!!!! Have fun!

1. Florida Mall = older mall "redone" good mix
2. Mall of Mellinenia = very upscale, nice, newest "mall"
3. Lots & lots of outlet stores / malls!
3a. Beltz mall outlet
3b. desiner mall outlet by beltz
3c. designer mall outlet near wdw (can't think of name?) right
off I4
3d. Scattered outlets all over (I'm not kidding)

Your question about your children sorry I don't know what that word means. ?

I like the Premium Outlet Mall which is only a few minutes away from DTD. I believe it's about a $10 cab ride.

Sorry MKY, I guess 'Creche' must be a term we use in England that you don't use in the United States. It's just a sort of 'Kids Club' where you can leave your children to have fun with trained staff while you shop!

I think some of the deluxe level Disney hotels have childcare/kid's clubs available. I know AKL and Poly definitely do. I'm not sure about the moderates and values though.

Thanks. We are staying at AKL and they definately have a kids club but I assumed that we wouldn't be able to leave the premises while they were there - I'll check that out.
