I second the suggestion of Chevy's over at the Crossroads. Also at the Crossroads, for a good moderately priced burger, try Fuddruckers.
For a really good steak dinner, try Charley's Steakhouse. There are a couple of them. One's right on 192 (set back a little from the street) about a 1/2 mile east of I-4. The other is up on I Drive, just south of Sand Lake Rd. We've been to the one on 192 and it was fantastic. Not exactly cheap, but one of the best bone-in ribeyes I've ever had, and the desserts are good, too. Jacket and tie not required, but you might feel a little out of place without a collared shirt and nice golf shorts or slacks.
For a more reasonable steak dinner, try Longhorn Steakhouse. Also 2 locations near WDW, both on 192. The newer one is about 4 miles west of I-4, out near the new Target near Orange Lake. The other one is about 3 miles east of I-4, almost directly across from Wyndham's Cypress Palms. Been to both. Both pretty consistantly good. Try the Wild West Shrimp appetizer. One our favorites.
Charley's is an upscale steakhouse we've always really enjoyed. Longhorn more run of the mill type chain but about 25% cheaper. For pure taste go Charley's - value may favor Longhorn. I'm hungry either way !
