Non-Disney Hotel Deals

I have always noticed the great deals offered on the Dis for non-Disney hotels (i.e. Swan/Dolphin, Sheraton Vistana, etc.). I just went through the links here to try to book one for early January and noticed that the deals all end at the end of 2008. Does anyone know how far in advance these deals usually come out? Are there always deals of some kind or are these unique to the holidays? January is coming up fast and I'm anxious to make my reservation, but hoping to wait until some deals for 2009 are posted.

If you will be at these hotels shortly after the deals expire, it is often worth giving the hotel a call and asking if they will honor the deal still. The worse they can say is "no" and you never know unless you ask!
