Me: 29. Likes mostly American food. Not a fan of steak or seafood.
DH: 29. Likes variety and is easy to please.
DSis: 26. Tries something different at each restaurant.
BIL: 27. Definitely a carnivore.
Overall, we had great service at our TS choices. Since we were staying on points, even though it was the free dining period, we were not on the DDP.
CS:
Wolfgang Puck:
- Crispy Chicken ($10)
Great tasting fries and good dipping sauce. There were not as many pieces of chicken as when I ordered this last year, but still good.
- Chicken Tortilla Focaccia Melt ($12)
DH said this was good. I tried just one bite and loved it. He did say that, based on the menu, he thought there would be actual tortilla chips and not just a few strips on top of the cole slaw (which he didn’t care for).
Earl of Sandwich:
Another great meal and still one of the best deals on property:
- The Earl’s Club (with American cheese instead of Swiss), chips and potato salad
- The Scudetto (with no tomato) and potato salad
Artist’s Palette:
- Breakfast flatbread (gravy, eggs, cheese and bacon). This was very good and different from other offerings I’ve seen. It was made fresh when I ordered it.
- Western omelet with potatoes. Basic CS. DH liked it though.

Reviews, but no photos:
- Hurricane Hanna’s (BC): Had a wonderful grilled chicken flatbread sandwich here. Highly recommend it!
- Sunshine Seasons (Epcot): Still our favorite CS on property. Portions were smaller than last year at the Asian counter, but still very good. Love all of the choices.
- BC Marketplace: Good bakery items for breakfast and sandwich choices for lunches.
- The Mara (AKL): Ordered the bacon double cheeseburger and African stew. Both were pretty good. The meal was topped off by the zebra mouse domes.
- Pecos Bill Cafe (MK): 3 of us ordered burgers and DSis ordered a pulled pork sandwich. The topping bar was excellent and the place was deserted!
TS:
Cape May Café:
- We tried to make a last minute ADR and there was no availability. They suggested we stop by right at opening (5:30) for a seat. We got right in a 5:30 with hardly any wait. This is one of our favorite places, and the food didn’t disappoint. It was packed, and at times the food lines were very long, but everything was very good. The oreo bon-bons are still spectacular! I highly recommend this restaurant, even if you are not a seafood love. There are so many choices for whatever type of food you like. Here are a few photos of our random plates:
Kona Café:
- This is our favorite restaurant on property, and this visit was no exception. Probably the best meal of the trip. We checked in about 15 minutes before our ADR and were seated about 5 minutes later. The bread and butter were spectacular, and we polished off two loaves before we received our drinks. All of the drinks were very strong. Here is a breakdown of our items:
- Lump crab cakes: Still my favorite appetizer on property. I’m not a fan of the salad dressing in the center, but the crab cakes are awesome.
- Pot stickers: While I didn’t try these, they disappeared quickly, so I think that means DSis and BIL liked them!
- Coconut almond chicken: This was even better than I remember. The salad is fantastic, and then piece of chicken was huge, moist and very flavorful.
- Macadamia Nut Mahi-Mahi (with mashed potatoes instead of rice): DH said this was very good and ate every bite.
- Beef teriyaki: Both DSis and BIL ordered this. They enjoyed the flavor and sides, but each felt their steaks were a bit more done then they had requested.
1900 Park Fare:
- We chose this for the strawberry soup, as that seemed to be the only differing item on this menu versus other breakfast buffets. (And it was very good. Almost tasted like an ice cream smoothie with fresh strawberries.) We checked in for our ADR and were seated within 5 minutes. The restaurant was very busy, and we felt a little crowded by other tables in the back corner. Our server cleared our plates, but was not particularly friendly or attentive. We got through most of our meal before the characters came by, and then they came one at a time. We saw Pooh, Tigger, Mary Poppins, Alice and the Mad Hatter. This is the only one we took:
Celebration Town Tavern:
- We happened upon this restaurant on our trip to Celebration and headed in for dinner. It was not busy, and we were seated right away. It was a bit dark inside the restaurant. The waitress said they were known for their seafood choices. We ended up taking much of our leftovers to feed the fish and turtles at BCV.
- Fish and chips ($12): Two of us ordered this. I thought the amount of fish was very little. Both the fries and fish were a little bland. I put a lot of pepper on them, and ended up not finishing any of it.
- Boca Burger ($9): With two sides (fries and baked beans). I believe my sister liked this sandwich.
- Philly Cheese Steak ($10): With two sides (potato salad and baked beans). DH liked this. He said the potato salad was different, but good.
Any questions?
