While I love character meals (even though we don't have kids), my DBF just isn't ready to go there. Last time we did breakfast at Boma loved it. I'm wondering what other breakfast buffets there are without characters. I would prefer something at a resort vs. in a park. Is the Wave a buffet now in the a.m.? Has anyone done it?

Trails End is a breakfast buffet at Fort Wilderness, very good and one of the least expensive on property! Typical breakfast buffet, with that good 'ol american west flavor, biscuts and gravy as well as the usual. Not as many options as Boma, but a good buffet. We love Boma too, but our family really likes Trails End as well.

At The Wave (CR) there is a very good buffet available as well as menu ay breakfast. Also the Captain's Grill (YC) has a breakfast buffet.

But my favorite is at Solaris in the World Center Marriott; I try to go there about once a month. It is about 70 feet of buffet with eggs and pancakes to order, about a dozen kinds of fruit, etc.

NOTE: This is a new location for a breakfast buffet. The
buffet has significantly increased its variety, and now is
very much worth the visit. At just under $20 per adult, it
is extremely reasonable for a WDW buffet. For breakfast, it
is probably the best-kept dining secret.
It has Mickey
waffles and delicious sweet potato pancakes. They use
local fresh fruit and vegetables. For those with a smaller
appetite, one can do the usual ala carte breakfast menu.

While not a true buffet you can get the "all you care to enjoy" skillet at Whispering Canyon Cafe.

This is really under $20 per adult? It's not on allears or DIS menu pages yet. This may be the winner. THANKS :thumbsup2

I love WCC for lunch/dinner, but like a little more variety at breakfast.
