I'm a DVC member with a reservation and I can't even purchase a ticket so how exactly does that qualify as preferential treatment? It's all about having a ticket really. On-site guests with tickets should receive first priority before off-site guests. That is one of the perks of being a WDW guest and it should remain so.
I'm not disagreeing with you. Onsite guests WITH TICKETS should get priority.
My response was to another poster (whom I quoted) who suggested Disney was catering to offsite guests. In reality, they are 'catering' (to use the previous poster's word) to guests who ALREADY have tickets.....which quite honestly should be honored, in my opinion, before those with just a hotel stay.
I'm totally fine with being 3rd in the pecking order, after onsite guests w/tickets and AP holders. But those with just a resort booking should certainly come AFTER us, as Disney needs to accommodate those who already purchased park admission before those that didnt (for whatever reason) regardless of where they are staying.
