I know we can carry on our prescription medicine in the original containers/bottles with our names and other information on them, but can prescription inhalers like albuterol and flovent be carried on?

Also can I carry on a 4 oz bottle of liquid cough medicine, a 4oz bottle of liquid motrin and a 4 oz bottle of liquid tylenol (traveling with 4 children) in the same carry on bag or do I need to seperate them? Also I can carry on 4oz of contact solution right?

Thanks for your help!

If it is a script med. Yes, you can bring it on. If you have the box the inhaler came in with the script label, it would be handy to keep it just in case.
You can keep all the meds in one carry on. Yes, to the contact solution.

I've always got at least two Albuterol inhalers with me, as well as the liquid stuff that goes in my neb. Never had anyone take a second look at it--or the Dayquil capsules I usually carry as well. I flew this past weekend with all of that in my carry-on, and no one asked to see a label or anything.

Good to know since I have to take two albuterols, two flovents, aerochambers, prevacid, liquid axid, and singulair for my children. I have two with asthma and one with reflux.

Our soon to be 7 year old (on 9/18) has GERD and asthma as well as multiple allergies.

So we have to take with us: albutoral inhaler with her aerochamber, advair, prevacid solutabs, rhinocort, singulair, claritin solutab, and multivitamin. And of course I have to also take Tylenol and Motrin (just in case). And her nebulizer for the big flare ups.

Hey will they let me take the albutoral ampules on board???

I feel that I have to keep them with me otherwise they might get lost!

I've traveled with mine and they haven't given them a second glance. Didn't take them out to check, didn't ask for the script, nothing.

Not being familiar with allergies or asthma meds. what are albutoral ampules?
If they are a script med, then yes, you can bring them. BUT, I would bring the box they came in with the patient's name on them. They may check, some don't bother, others do Be prepared. :)

The "BOX" is HUGE. It contains 50 ampule doses packaged in five foil wrapped ten-packs. It is not required to take the entire box, which is a 2-4 week or longer supply.

Rather, have the pharmacist provide labels for two of the ampule foil packets and just carry them. They are small and convenient to carry like that.

Thanks, like I said, I am totally unfamiliar with those meds. Hopefully, the pharmacist will do this for the poster.
