NOLA to Rosemary Beach Road Trip

Planning a road trip from New Orleans to Rosemary Beach. Looking at 6 or 7 nights. 2 or 3 in NOLA and ending with probably 2 in Rosemary Beach. For the in between we want to drive the coastline. Any suggestions on places to visit and stay the night, restaurants etc. would be so appreciated.

I would stay a couple nights in New Orleans and the rest in rosemary beach. Having spent time in both places, I would pick rosemary beach, hands down. The drive between the 2 shouldn’t be more than 7 hours. I would just drive the whole way, but if you have to stop, gulf shores is nice.

Thanks. We have decided on just 2 nights in New Orleans. But we do want to stop at least 1 night in between there and Rosemary Beach. Maybe Fairhope? We have started a tradition of "road tripping" to see areas of the country we've never been to. We mainly stay off the interstates. Last year we drove all over New England and year before Phoenix to Vegas.
