I was surprised to be able to make FP+ selections today for all 4 of us who have tix for NOJ. I was able to make them between 4:00-7:00pm. Last year I could not make FP+ for any of my hard ticket events so this is great!!

I just checked MDE and all 4 FP+ selections are still there. I have been hoping Disney would allow hard ticket FP+ to be made..... after all the tix aren't cheap and should come with all the benefits of any other ticket...IMO.

But the ride lines are usually short at the hard ticket parties because most people spend that extra money to do the party-specific activities, not something they can do during regular park hours.

True, however, the party specifics don't start until after 7:00pm so it is nice to be able to enter the park at 4:00pm and have FP+ selections waiting for you. It has also been my experience in the last few years that the special events at MK requiring a hard ticket get more and more crowded each year.
