Noisy Hotel Neighbors--WWYD?

Has happened to us before. That is when we would stood next to the door, clapped loudly and yelled words of encouragement. They got awful quiet after that!

That's awesome.

Frankly, I think you handled it poorly. You should just have called the front desk. And if they asked what kind of noise, all you had to say was they were having really loud sex. Not sure why that would have made you blush.

Blaring podcasts and YouTube videos? Really? I guess it never occurred to you that if you blared something, then other guests may have heard it?

I still don't understand why you didn't call the desk, then turn on your white noise app and fan at that point.

I agree totally. You made your own disturbance, and were very DRAMATIC, blaring youtube videos. Why was it not okay for them to disturb you, but okay for you to disturb others?

I wonder if the people on the other side of your room complained about the person next to them-YOU-blaring noise?

I also wonder, who would have seen you blush over the phone, and why blushing alone in your room, is such a horrible thing?

Next time, if the front desk person asks what kind of noise they're making-and they WON'T!-just say, "does it matter? They're disturbing me."

If you go to same hotel every other week I'd try to get an end of the hall room.

Are you on their REWARDS Program? If so-they seem to treat Rewards folks with "extras" esp REQUESTS!

I always get this same room at a Marriot I go to 2 x a year-the way the bed is set up=my bed is on the blank wall-and there is no connecting door-so my TV is on the wall the next room's bed is on-at worst i could turn on TV-I also ALWAYS bring a White Noise maker and run AC to help with noise.

I'd speak or email management and try to find such a room and always book for you(on various floors)

Before you leave the hotel for your very early a.m. flight, call their room from the lobby.

"This is your wake up call."

Answering groggily, "We didn't leave a wake up call."

"Well we did not want a wake up call last night, but you where very inconsiderate and gave several rooms around you a wake up call."

If I had dd13 with me, I would call down to the desk. If not, I would be yelling: you know he knows you are faking that lol.or say something else to that affect.

We were in a hotel in PA and the people next to us kept us awake one night- the next night when they started again my friend is standing by the door yelling "hey she is faking it, you are not that good in bed"

On a Carnival cruise our room was next door to 2 single guys- well they lucked out often on that cruise and were really noisy, we started to just ring their phone in their room every time they got to noisy to late-and after one VERY late night we were sure to wake them up at 7am when we got up! The funniest day was when we were woken up by one of the guys yelling at the other "dude you "crapped" in the bed in your sleep". My friend had a blast with that one because she kept slipping note under their door the rest of the cruise about them crapping in the bed.
