For years now I have not been able to sleep in dead quiet. I guess it started when the neighbors kept their dogs outside at night and after many complaints of their barking from me to no avail, I started to cover up the noise with a fan. Then I bought one of those "noise therapy" machines with all the different nature sounds on it. I can't sleep to the birds chirping, or the ocean waves, but the white noise lulls me to sleep. What's bad is that I have gotten my boys used to it somehow, so unless the ceiling fan is on, and their "white noise" is on, they won't sleep either...
When we stay in a hotel, I either have to leave the bathroom fan going, the A/C on, or bring my noise machine.
Is there anyone else out there that is weird like this????Please tell me I'm not alone...
