The only noise issues are with rooms overlooking the boardwalk. There is a lot of activity that goes on until pretty late. If you have any other rooms (like standard) you should be fine.
The BWV are in the back so I don't think they would pick up any noise from the boardwalk.
We've had noise issues from the rooms next to us - noisy neighbors. The walls seem to be thin. We've stayed in a BWV overlooking Luna pool and didn't have any problems with noise from the pool.
Our last stay was at BWI. Our room was right above Spoodles on the Boardwalk. With our door shut, we didn't notice the noise at all. The only thing that we could really hear was the boat going back and forth to Epcot and MGM. It honks its horn when it arrives. However, with the door shut, the honking was very muffled and didn't bother us at all. It just added to the ambience of being at Disney and of course the honking stopped about 1 hour after the park closed and the boats stopped running. I am a pretty light sleeper and never was awakened during our 7 night stay.
Thanks for the replys. We have never rented points before and stayed at any of the DVC propertys. We rented 4 nights in March and got a Prefered room.. Someone told me that a Boardwalk view room was the best... Just was worried about noise like after 11pm since well have our than 10 month old along. Can anyone tell me the other views you might have with prefered if you dont get boardwalk view?
