Nobby's Gnomies... heading to WDW in April 2010

Awww I love those digital scrapbooking especially Storybook maker...I'm totally purchasing that...right now they are having a sale on the 2.0 version so I'm going to go ahead and get it, but its another thing I'm going to wait until I get home and can sit down with my CM and she can show me the benefits of using it and how to properly use it!!!!

Can't wait to see what you have learned by September so you can show me a few tricks LOL!!!!! The pictures you take now are amazing!

Hi, Gnomies!!!

Jess -- I am so glad that Riley is home again!

Paula -- Those scrapbooking pages are outstanding!

LL and C -- Yes, the summer has flown by and school is right around the corner for me :(.

Jen -- I haven't looked at Creative Memories stuff lately; I should go do that.

Katie -- The job sounds perfect for you!

So, Charles and I made some decisions today about summer vacations. I almost hate to say it, but after the October trip, we will have been to Disney six times in three years. I think we are ready for a break (after October, of course -- I need my Food and Wine Festival). So, we are going to skip Disney in 2010 and head down to Key West. I have always wanted to go, and I think it will be a lot of fun. Now, I did buy Mousejunkies today along with a Key West guidebook, so after I am done with that, I may change my mind. We will head back in 2011 though. I think that will be all I can stand.

Thanks for the link, Paula. I will check Creative Memories out! Your course sounds great and how terrific that you got a deal on the price! :thumbsup2

Wow, Jackie!! Let's not be hasty. ;) Just kidding. Key West sounds great too. :goodvibes

"Happy" Monday, gnomies. Only one more Monday and then I have a week's vacation!! No plans just hanging around and hopefully enjoying good weather. :thumbsup2

CP -- I think that is a fine idea. I will miss your PTR/TR though, you must must do a very very looooooong one for October. :lmao: Key West sounds like a lot of fun. :thumbsup2

C -- Yay for vacation!! I really enjoyed my week of just sitting around the house and doing nothing after Disney in May. It was quite enjoyable!

Happy Monday Gnomies!!

Jess- that is one good daddy to fall asleep on the floor with Riley ( who looks precious all tucked in her blankies). Glad she's home and playing with her toys. Fingers crossed for the claim.

LL- can't wait to see the results of your crafts!

------------

Gnomies - I am OUTRAGED. The Target ad this week has back to school stuff!?! :scared1:  :scared:  :headache:

We're just barely having summer weather. How is it time to start thinking about backpacks and notebooks?? And I don't even have kids!

I will admit I died a little inside when I walked into Dollar Tree the other day and saw Back to School supplies LOL! Then I decided I should get some paper to stock up in my room LOL!

:lmao: I know -- on one hand I am excited about someplace new, different, and tropical -- on the other hand, I am going to go through some serious Disney withdrawals. Maybe, I can convince Charles to do a quick trip...:rolleyes1

I think I will really miss doing a PTR/TR :(. I might have to start a blog or something.

:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2: That is a great way to describe how I feel when I see the back-to-school supplies.

Gnomies...we really need a new thread.

I have started one and C has started one. Who wants a turn this time? We need to do it soon.

Key West from what I have been told is amazing though!!! A group of our kids went down for a weekend marine biology retreat and didn't want to come back!!!

Oh yes back to school supplies had taken my will to live...and then I saw some Tinkerbell bubbles that I knew a very special Disney princess in training (no kids of my own yet but I'm endoctrinating (if this is not a word don't tell me) my best friend's child LOL) would love LOL!

I nominate Jen (because she called me a Yak Attack ;)).

The hotel we want to stay at was built in 1918 by Henry Flagler and looks amazing -- I can even book the room right now if I want to!

You should book the room CP! :rotfl:

I second Jen's nomination. Now we need a title. Personally I like "Gnomes Gone Wild" :lmao:

Umm Jen leaves tomorrow for an almost 3 week vacation so I'm going to have to respectfully decline LOL...however since you already have a title what do you need me for LOL

I have thought about it. After all, it's just one night's deposit and I can cancel up to seven days before. It's a steal at $233.00 a night.

If you are bored at work today, here's the link.

I win I win...WOOT!! Any other day I would have happily taken it so I will do the next next thread when its needed okay LOL!! That gives me months to prepare LOL!

It is, but I bet they don't have any Hidden Mickeys. :lmao: I keep telling myself that I need to make sure the kids see places other than Disney, and they do have poolside beverage service.

Well you could always make up your own hidden Mickeys and hide them around the resort if you wanted LOL!!

And Poolside beverage service does it get any better LOL
