Nobby's Gnomies... heading to WDW in April 2010

Hey gnomies! My last day of work for another 12 days! Yay!

Paula- glad that turned out less than you thought it would!
Stace- I will be connected via laptop and wi-fi throughout vacation, I fully intend to catch up on every trip report I've started and never finished as my reading material!!

Well-that and the rest of eclipse and Breaking Dawn. Did I even mention I succumbed to Twilight? But I couldn't get thorugh the 2nd book and instead wiki'ed how it ended. I like eclipse but I'm not that into it either I guess because I've been perusing it for 2 weeks now. I'm REALLY excited about Breaking Dawn though because the wiki synopsis was awesome!

Going to look at 9 houses in the morning. Wish me luck in the form of dry, finished basements, 2+car garages & hobby space, and decent kitchens!!

Katie- I meant to say too that is totally something Jim would do. But then HE'd turn around and say I never told him is was all RIGHT THERE on the calendar.

Oh ladies- forgot to share with you. So.... we get 3 paychecks this month the way our pay periods fall. The 1st one get's no insurance deductions and so it's a lot bigger because of that. It only happens 2 times a year so I've been looking forward to this for a long time.

And what happens? Well, my "check engine" light goes on in the car this morning, of course!!!!!!!!!

Happy Canada Day Gnomies!

Today you all (esp. YOU Paula!!!) have to eat moose with maple syrup sauce and boiled beaver pelts for dinner in my honor! Yes, you may have Le Cellier Mousse for dessert! Really, I'm just gonna eat my leftover pizza and go see Public Enemies to celebrate! Besides it's raining and fireworks at my uncle's have been cancelled!

Jen (MM) - yay for time to yourself!

Juelz - I hate it when the universe does stuff like that!! It just means you are destined for your convertible! Are you implying that I should update my TR? I might later on tonight depending on what time I get home. If not I probably will tomorrow. Enjoy the rest of the Twilight Saga! Now, where can I find my Edward?

Katie - How frustrating are men sometimes?!I know you'll figure something out. I would watch your kids if I lived nearby!

Paula - yay for your tree being cheap!!!!!!

Happy Canada Day Stace!!!! I think the only thing I might consider eating that you mentioned was the maple syrup....just haven't had much beaver pelt down here!!! Enjoy your pizza and the movie---sounds GREAT!!!

Julez---UGH about the check engine light....but I am hoping that it is just something simple and can be taken care of without any problems!!!

Hey gang....I know we have chatted about this before, but I just watched Monday's episode of Jon and Kate, and it just made me so sad over that whole situation all over again. They did this flashback over the past 10 years in their life, and then fast forwarded to today, and you just sit there and say "WHAT HAPPENED!?!??!?!" And it spiraled down so quickly!!! I feel such sadness for all of them that they no longer are the big happy family from the early years. Just thought I would share really quickly!

Katie---How very stereotypical of you!!!! Hee hee!!! Yes, I live in KY, but NO those stereotypes do not run true of the majority of the people I know!!! I live in Northern KY---in what is considered the Greater Cincinnati area---and there is a much more sophisticated/suburban environment to the area I live in. I am sure that stereotype fits those that hail from the Appalachian Mountain area in Southeastern KY. Just to show you the type of "sophistication" I come from, George Clooney and I attended the same University!!! You silly Gnomie!!!

Hey girls! I'm still here
Been trying to do as much lurking as possible and commenting here and there. I was in the lab ALL this week getting ready to get some preliminary results from my REAL experiments (finally). I'll be in lab all day again tomorrow, but I'm running gels so I'll be in and out and will be able to chat a little.
