Nobby's Gnomies... heading to WDW in April 2010

HELP....I'm totally packing and I think I might be packing too much LOL!!!! I have packed at least 4 shirts (remember I'm there for 4 days) and I have 2 shirts waiting for me UGHHH...I have 2 capris, two pairs of jeans...3 pairs of shoes...of course I am in just one duffle bag, one backpack, one small books-a-million bag, a cooler....let's all be thankful I'm driving LOL!!!! My GPS is ready to go I checked on my rental car...oh I can't handle this I'm done...I'm going to go watch TV...I'm going to let LL finish packing for me.

LL...please tell me I'm not forgeting anything that is my biggest thing that I'm going to forget something UGH!!

Oh I did go to the bank today and ...okay I need to breathe...freaking out here....hope LL is calm this evening LOL

BUT

LL has no more Mondays until Disney and is in the home stretch
Jen looked great in her dress, had a date with a prince and now apparently has a dog (temporarily).
CP is almost done with school and is also almost in WDW
Jess has a new book and had a fun vacation
Rachael's big party is this weekend

BTW- Jen and Julez- still looking for pics of the dress and bounce house respectively.

Thanks C for helping me out there! Let's not forget your awesome PTR title (which BTW I read while enjoying last nights glass of wine)

Yay to no more Mondays, pretty dresses, being done with school, new books and birthday parties (and also C, if you were on facebook you could have already seen Jens dress, it was lovely, beutiful color!)

Chill Jen...it's all good. Anything you could possibly forget can be found in the World, a grocery store, Wal-Mart or a gas station (if not, you don't need it) OOH OOH OOH, that reminds me, if you happen to get to Wal-Mart...my Mom bought some Micky and Minnie mugs last year for my nieces and nephew for christmas. Patrick was very disappointed to not get one. Mom wasn't able to find them in her part of FL so if you find yourself there and they have some cheap mugs (under $5), pick up one and I'll pay you back with shipping. Don't make a special trip though!

Happy Victoria Day! (Long weekend for us up here but I wound up sitting around my mum's backyard and getting half sunburned...litterally, the sun only hit half my body - looks SUPER wacky!)

How is it I never manage to get around here?!....Lord have Mercy I have missed you guys this week especially....
Between the crazy weekend in Indiana (which was wonderful but tiring for Auntie Stacy!), dental surgery, more of it on Wednesday and my hours being cut AGAIN at work.....and now I look like TwoFace from Batman with my sunburn!

But I swear there will be no more of this 12 days without checking in here! I miss you guys too much and I feel ashamed for being such a rotten part of this group! Plus I will be spending much more time at home since I now only work 20 hours a week! And will be looking for another job....

Katie - It might be late but Happy Anniversary and I hope your back feels better soon!

C - thanks for the e-mail last week with the Mickey Monitor! I hadn't even checked my e-mail in 10 days!!!

Jess - Happy Anniversary to you too!! and Hi!

Oh this job....I do enjoy it, but it's stressing me....I am dreading tomorrow. It's stupid but tomorrow is the last day before my three-month probation period is up and they can fire me without a specific reason and I keep feeling like they will. Not because I don't do well but just because there's not enough work or budget to keep all of us....but I'm gonna head off now and apply through e-mail for 4 jobs I just found online! Keep your fingers crossed! - and eat, I should eat...

LL is freaking out. I went to bed last night with my throat hurting. I got up around 5:30, usually I don't get up until 6:30, my throat hurts SO BAD. I feel horrible. I am still hoping the allergy medicine I took this morning will make me feel better but I am slowly losing hope of that. I am going to call the doctor in a few hours if I am not feeling better. Even if it's allergies, maybe she can give me some better stuff. I will not be sick in DISNEY!

Morning girls! LL and Jen - oh my I am so excited for you guys!!

My back is no better. I took 4 advil before bed last night and felt OK when I went to sleep but a few hours later I just couldn't get comfortable. I went downstairs and tried the couch and recliner and still had no luck. Finally I remembered that I have a couple Vicodin left over from my accident last year so I took one and it brought a few hours of sweet relief!! I woke up with no pain but as soon as I tried moving, I could feel the pain slowly coming back. My appointment is at 8:30 so hopefully it will stay relaxed enough for him to do something with it. I have a long day at work today and I don't want to feel like this!

The swelling is completely gone. My right heel is still bothering me but it's better with the shoe inserts. I'll be able to handle it down in Disney.

I am pretty sure it's allergies. I called the doctor and left a message with a nurse seeing if she'd call me in an allergy prescription. I am feeling slightly better since taking some sudafed at home. Just slightly though. I just want to put my head down on my desk and sleep.

Okay in all seriousness these are not signs, these are just obstacles you have had and will have to overcome. This trip is what you are going to make of it and I demand you think positively. This trip is about your heart's desires and making Disney all that Disney is to you. It's about skipping down Main street in silly fairy t-shirts, its about packing way too much stuff, its about eating at Hollywood Brown Derby and passing inappropriate french notes with C's phone # on it to ALL the cute waiters at Les Chefs. It's about YOU and about you having the best time.
