I'm FINALLY almost caught up on my DISign thread... I'm thinking of retiring that...I like making stuff...but it's time conuming doing all the personalizations.
2 weeks in...I REALLY glad I took this job

OK I want the pizza fondue recipie too!!! It sounds very integuing
Meatloaf... i make it like my Mummum did...handfulls of this and a dash of that... 2.5# VERY lean ground beef...some italian bread crumbs (unless I'm out, then i use quick oats instead) a big squirt of ketchup, a smaller quirt of mustard, a finely chopped small onion, an egg, a dash of red peppper flakes/salt/pepper/parsley.... mush it all up and divide in half. make 2 loaves (1 to cook and 1 to freeze for another day)
OK HERE IS THE BEST PART!!!
on the top... i mix ketchup, mustard and BROWN SUGAR together in a bowl (I don't measure... but I'd guess 1/2c ketchup, 1/4c brown sugar, and a nice big squirt of mustard) til the sugar is dissolved and spread it ontop...rather than plain ketchup.... seriously it changed Tom from a meatloaf hater to a lover in 1 dinner

Allison is freaked about the swine flu

i'm sooo irritated with them talking about it at school. Shes all worried shes gonna get it, she's gonna MAKE herself sick! I still can't get her to eat peanutbutter...she thinks it will kill her

"people DIE from eating peanut butter, mom!!!" OTTV I don't know what to do to soothe her fears. Everything I tell her, gets contradicted when she goes to school and they start on the whole "the sky is falling" pandemic routine. grrrr boo hiss snarl!!
