Nobby's Gnomies... heading to WDW in April 2010

I am sooo jealous of you lot going to MNSSHP....I wonder if there is any chance of my squeezing in a tiny trip this year....I'm mean, it would be my birthday if I go for a few days at the end of september.....oh I shouldn't get my hopes up!

Yes you should!! :yay:

Good Eveeeeeeeeeening Gnomies.

C, have you read Twilight? I think if you had you might find him a bit more attractive. :lmao: I think the story for me is at least 1/2 of the attraction.

I have read the first two books. And loved them. And am definitely Team Edward (vs. Jacob). But for whatever reason that actor just doesn't quite do it for me. :confused3 Now maybe if he were a french waiter serving champagne... :lmao:

I agree completely! It's the book form of Edward Cullen that you really fall in love with. I mean, don't get me wrong, Robert Pattinson is a hottie IMHO, but Edward Cullen = my romantic fantasy man! Men should have to read these books to learn!:rotfl:

Well as long as you're not Team Jacob we can still be friends! However, I think if Edward served me champagne I might literally swoon! :rotfl2:

I don't know totally about a trip. I haven't even gotten my first paycheque yet!! I have plan things out a few times I think....

So glad we can still be friends! :) Yes, you should plan things out. April 2010 will come soon behind September so don't do anything crazy. Even if it would make us really, really happy. ;)

OH NO, stacy...you too?? Will I be the ONLY gnomie not going in September? Will anyone still want to go with me in April?

Hi NJ!!! (new Jen :rotfl2: )

You KNOW I am!! I have it pre-ordered and my schedule cleared for the day:yay:

Not to be the odd man out... but I had it on my Oct trip since I heard sooo much about it. I thought it was just...eh... not really impressed

I've done the early morning ADR..I never thought about a late night one... that's a great idea!!! I need to try that:rolleyes:

I know I can't be there Friday:sad1: I don't want to go to MNSSHP by myself:sad: Will you go 2 times Jen?? Please???

I love him too!! It said it's only til Sept 10th or so... so we're gonna miss him  If my July trip goes as planned... I'm DEFINATELY going to Chefs to see him though!!

I think I'm going to definately try to finangle a vacay weekend so that I can definately be there Saturday. If I don't arrive til Tuesday like I had planned... I won't get to see everyone!!!

Cheers!
Paula

Of course I will we have to go me, you, and C LOL...Prince Phillip would not have it any other way LOL!!!!!! I still don't know if I will be able to work it out to go a day earlier so we'll have to wait and see LOL...a lot of variables right now!!!!!!

Hey guys, check out my ticker countdown today!!! (gotta get excited about those big numbers somehow  And yes, I have been waiting about 5 days to point it out...sad I know)

I'm still planning on Gnomefest too!! No worries.

Katie, I love your ticker! I get excited about silly milestones like that too. Hehehe. :thumbsup2

I am SO happy that it is finally Friday.

Happy Friday!!! It's going to be a long Friday for me, though. We have a half-day with the kids, but then we have a soccer game this afternoon which is forever away (distance, not time). It will probably be late by the time I get home, and then, tomorrow is Science Olympiad for Connor. I am in desparate need of some downtime!

Uh oh. Science Olympiad. Isn't that where you had the tornado incident last year? :scared1: :scared1:

I hate it when you have 1,001 things you have to do during your usual "off" time. Grrr.

I'm going up to my parents tomorow so Marc can see our new table and my Aunt is coming over to give me and my cousin (the only other girl) something that has to do with my grandmother. I'm very nervous. I'm the oldest grandchild and sometimes I think I'm the only one who is still affected by her passing. I cry anytime she is mentioned, especially around my Aunt. My cousin was just a baby when she passed away so she doesn't get as emotional because she doesn't have any memories of her. My mom knows what it is but won't tell me. She loves to torture me. :rotfl:

Go Conner Go!!! This Science teacher will be rooting for you!! I enjoyed doing Scholar's Bowl growing up, I wish we had had science Olympiad...but to no avail!!!!!

Jackie I'm sorry you are so swamped! That feeling is no fun at all!! I hope you get the downtime you deserve soon!!!

Yes, that was tornado day last year -- we are supposed to get rain all day tomorrow, but no storms are forecast -- keep your fingers crossed for us.

You will have to be sure to let us know what your aunt gives you tomorrow.

Connor is very excited since this is his first year competing (Chelsea did it for two years in elementary, but there is no SO at the middle school level). Connor's two events are Save Our Earth and Categories.

I am trying not to get stressed out about everything -- which is sometimes easier said than done.

I will let you all know.

I used to love SO. In fact, I was such a little science geek in middle school. I miss my science fair days. A crabby, horrible science teacher ruined me my freshman year. I took biology the next year and then I was going to have to have that same horrible teacher my junior year and I didn't take the class. Blech.

I always enjoyed science, too. Not as much as English and history, but it was always fun.
