Well the conference is almost half over and I haven't killed anyone yet so that's a good thing LOL...although having back to back conference was never a good thing I really can't wait until I'm back home YAY!!! I think tomorrow during the day I might download menus to look at LOL

C - I am kinda on the fence about online ADRs. I want to see how it works for other people. There is a Brown Derby ADR available at 6:30 on my birthday I was trying to convince Marc to take a jaunt down there last night.

Maybe this just means you are meant to simply relax and enjoy the time with your family. who says you have to plan anything (I know, it is counterintuitive to most disers!), go with the flow and do what you feel like doing (or not doing)

Greg and I are trying to work out our mini vacation plans and I am struggling with his attitude that we have to DO something everyday. It's funny because when we were in WDW, he was the one who made the decision that we were going too fast and needed to relax more (and it was the right decision for our family) I'm a bit frustrated because when we first dated and vacationed together, he was OK with the "exploring" plan. Our first vacation was to the pacific NW and we had no plans at all. We just drove out there and found things to do and we had a blast! This was largely our Europe vacation too. We had a general idea of where we were going from day to day but had no hotel reservations and changed our plan when we wanted. We would drive to a town, find a zimmer then explore the town or ask for suggestions from the locals about what to do. We had a wonderful trip! Now, Greg needs to know what we are doing everyday but doesn't want to do any research to find out what the options are yeah, I'm a little frustrated!

Hey gang!!!! Life has slowed down enough to allow me some DIS time---'bout time!!!!! I am EXHAUSTED from all of our running and special events!!! So glad things are finally creeping to a crawl....but then again there is always DISNEY planning to do!

LL---You know you and I share the same MIL angst, and all I can tell you after having been married almost 10 years and together with Tom for over 16, you have to stick to your guns and TAKE CARE OF YOU! I don't know why some MILs think they are owed the same treatment that we would extend to our own Moms....drives me CRAZY!!! I'm sorry God didn't bless my MIL with her own daughter, but that in no way means she can take possession of my Mom's gift---ME!!! We are here for you girlie!!!

I am SO interested in this online thing---do I still have to wait to the 90 day mark???? PLEASE help this uninformed Gnomie out!

Katie, that would be so frustrating. For Marc & I find that if we don't have any plans that we get frustrated, it's about finding that balance.

Jen (MM) - Online ADRs, you still have to wait until 90 days out. I wonder though if they let you do the 90+10 online....hmmm, something to investigate.
I am so over the MIL angst. Girl dates, I tell you! PFFFFFFFFFT!. She just tries too hard and it's annoying because it's not fun getting together with her. She just judges me and tries to get me to live like she does. No thank you.

Just plug in dates that are available, I think you can play around with it without booking. That is what I have been doing just to see how it works.

Hey Gnomies

I'm checking in stealthily from work so I'm trying to be quick! I just wanted to pop in a quick hello and give you all virtual hugs! Sounds like things have been pretty up and down and they have been for me too!

Things are busy here since the manager is off at a conference and I've been baby/housesitting all week! I also have a second interview tomorrow with the kids' store I was telling you about before!
And I was thinking about you all last night! Have any of you ever seen this show on MTV called Room Raiders? Well, last night one of the girls on it had a collection of garden gnomes! And the guy didn't pick her because he thought they were creepy! I wondered what Nobby would think of that!

Anyhow I hope you all have a good rest-of-the-week and I will hopefully chat with you all soon!

Oh yeah LL! True Blood was different...they're definately going off-book! I'm sure it will be on DVD before you know it! I only have it because my mum still pays for half of the cable bill....we'll see how long that lasts!

Hey Stace, I thought the first episode of TB was really really different too. I'm anxious to see how far into the series they'll go. It was pretty good though!

Room Raiders...yes, I used to watch that years ago. I feel like I'm older than all the contestants on there now and it makes me sad, lol. I think one Gnome is enough for all of us, especially Nobby! He keeps us all entertained and on our toes!
