Nobby's Gnomies... heading to WDW in April 2010

Good Morning Gnomies! How is everyone today? I'm exhausted...again. I didn't fall asleep until after 1AM...again. I am so sick of not sleeping. Hopefully tonight will be better since Marc will be home, I sleep better when he is home.

Anyone have any exciting plans for the weekend?

Good morning, LL! I didn't fall asleep until 2:30 so I feel your pain. We were under a severe thunderstorm watch and that just freaked me out. I couldn't sleep after that.

No exciting plans here, but I was ultra excited to find a free shipping code in my inbox for Shutterfly this morning. Now, I can order all my prints and not pay the $17 in shipping that they wanted!

Oooh! That is exciting to not have to pay shipping! Yay!

I don't have any plans either. Marc & I just started watching the first season of Big Love so I imagine we will do that and we want to go see Up. I am determined to make it there this weekend.

How do you like Big Love? My friend Amara loves it and keeps trying to get me to watch it.

We've only seen the first two episodes but I like it. It has a great cast. This will probably sound weird, but I am fascinated by polygamy, not that I want to be involved in that but I just find it fascinating. I'm a sucker for those news specials on it.

My entire book club is fascinated by it as well. You should read Under the Banner of Heaven -- it's non-fiction, but an absolutely fascinating read.

Did you know I updated? :rolleyes1

No! I was just thinking it was about time you updated. :rotfl:

I've read two books about 2 former wives. It's truly crazy.

Oh no, you didn't. I am so glad you did. I was going to harass you later today if I didn't see an update. :rotfl2:

:rotfl: I am dying to write the next one, but I have to pace myself...

So, instead I have been planning imaginary vacations over on the WDW website -- I am already anxious for them to release 2010 packages.

I was thinking about that yesterday, it's almost time. August, right?

JACKIE UPDATED!?!?!?!?!?!??! I must scoot over there right now and read......and PLEASE....no need to pace yourself.....you know we would LOVE to know all about the next update!!!!

Yes, it should be August. Although today Charles asked me if we could take a family vacation somewhere else. I need to buy DVC so we HAVE to go to Disney.

:rotfl: I have to pace myself so I have something to write for awhile -- I don't want to finish too quickly!

He asked WHAT? :scared1::scared1: How about you compromise and vacation somewhere else in addition to WDW?

Well at least it is Friday, my gnomies. I don't know about where you live but here it has been raining A LOT. And more today. :headache: Nothing as horrible as the tornado warnings some of you experience so regularly but just enough to be annoying!

Oh well, rainy weekends tend to make for good DIS'ing. And I've got ADRs to finalize. Next week is ADR week!

I played around with the online ADR tool... not sure I like it.

Have a good day! :upsidedow

:scared1::scared1::scared1: I can't believe it. Oh my goodness. I'm surprised you didn't pass out! :lmao: I get all panicky when Marc talks about vacationing other places. BOO!

Thanks goodness for Fridays! It's miserable and rainy here too. The sun peeked out on Wednesday and it was weird, I'm not used to it anymore. Which made me think I could live in Seattle and get used to the rain. :rotfl2: Maybe if I move there I will meet some Cullen relatives. ;)

I went to bed at 8:30 last night. I finally got some sleep, I feel like a new person this morning!

Good morning, Christine! That is exactly what I said -- I said, "We can go somewhere else, but I am still going to WDW once a year!" Charles is over Disney, but I still plan on going with the kids.

I can't wait to find out what ADRs you are planning to get.

Not too much rain around here lately -- and today it is supposed to reach 100. Yick!

:scared1::scared1::scared1: I can't believe it. Oh my goodness. I'm surprised you didn't pass out! :lmao: I get all panicky when Marc talks about vacationing other places. BOO!

I did get all panicky! I don't know where he thinks we would have as much fun! I told him to do research and present ideas which means he won't and we will still go to WDW. ;)

That's exactly the tactic I take with Marc. He talks about going other places and I tell him to plan something. All he ever comes up with is to go camping in a tent. I don't do tents. I did my time as a Girl Scout when I was younger and camping in a tent is NOT my idea of fun. Give me a cabin with a real bed and a shower thank you very much. :rotfl2:

Charles keeps mentioning strange things like that -- yesterday he said something about skiing (um, I hate outdoor activities and the cold), the Grand Canyon (I told him he was nuts -- he doesn't like to hike from the entrance of AK to Everest -- what would make him want to hike all around the Grand Canyon), and a ranch (really -- us? I can just see Connor falling off a horse). However, I told him to look into everything and price it. He also mentioned a cruise -- I could live with that as long as it is a Disney cruise.
