Nobby's Gnomies... heading to WDW in April 2010

First of all......OCEAN POTION ROCKS!!!!!

Just thought I would put in my two cents!!! ;)

We have our 15 year reunion coming up this year, but I doubt I will go......I still pretty much see the people I want to see (we only had 56 kids in our class) and right now I feel too busy and whatnot to deal with seeing the others. I know that sounds dumb probably, but I am just not that up to it.

Anyone see any September hours yet???????? They are KILLING me!!!!!!!!

Oh, why would you need the September hours...hmmm??!!

I think my class had 62 or something like that. And it doesn't sound dumb at all!

Ummmmmm............just like to peruse them for my sheer entertainment.........that's all..........GULP!!!!

Hi everyone!!

OK My ADR pick is ....50's prime time. even with a 'bad' server we'd have fun. and honestly....I'm making myself try BD w/ Jen and C b/c they  it so much.... but the menu really doesn't appeal to me:scared:

I'm in the "old people" group.... I graduated in 1991 so my 20th is lurking around the corner. I haven't been to any reunions either.... but only because we haven't had any:confused3 the 5, 10, and 15th were all cancelled due to lack of response...and I graduated with 132!!

still keeping my fingers crossed for DVC for you C!!

Yay Jackie...it's almost time to go see mickey! Has Chelsea seen her shirt yet?? or is it a suprise?? Sorry..I'm notoriously bad about following PTRs... TR's on the other hand.....:thumbsup2

I got up at 4am and walked 2 miles this morning. I'm off to shower and get ready for work now. Allison missed her last day of school... she spiked a temp of 104F... took her to the dr yesterday, and she has strep. At least the dance recital is out of the way....but I feel bad that she has to get up early, so Tom can take her to Mil house for the day while we're working:sad1:

Okey Dokey! C ya all later!

P

C, don't worry -- I graduated in 1993 -- we are in the same boat! :goodvibes

Jess, I am going to vote PTC -- only because I really, really, really want to eat there and Charles always says no.

Paula, good for you for walking this morning! I haven't made Chelsea's shirt yet! I need to get on the ball with that, don't I?

WOOT!! (my word of the day) Way to represent class of 2000!! I'm also embarking on my 10 year class reunion...as valedictorian I don't have to go right LOL!!!! UGH I keep in touch with everyone from high school that I want to still talk to and see LOL!!!

Well enought whining from me!!

So I have to vote well since I really enjoy both places...my vote for big group meal would have to be 50's I think that would be a lot of fun and I'm hoping for new clips when I go...I had a hoot when I went in the summer!

I vote w/the consesus because I have not desire to eat at either! Just being w/you ladies will make me happy!

I can't believe Brown Derby is losing. I just can't grasp it. :rotfl2:

My last week of vacation is speeding by and I have done nothing, accomplished nothing and just feel lazy. Bah. I need to DO something.

You went to WDW -- that was a pretty big accomplishment! :thumbsup2

Palace Circle was checked out at the library :headache:, but I did get Innocent Traitor by Alison Weir -- have you read that one yet? It looks really good -- it's about Lady Jane Grey.

I should have sent Palace Circle in your Nobby Package. :headache:

I LOVED Innocent Traitor but I liked Lady Elizabeth even more by Alison Weir but they are both excellent. I'm just finishing up A Catch of Consequence right now by Diana Norman. SO GOOD! I love it. I'm itching to go to the bookstore today.

That's okay -- hopefully the library will have it when I get back.

I have always been fascinated by Lady Jane Grey so I am glad you liked the book -- did you ever see the movie they made years and years ago with Helena Bonham Carter as Lady Jane and Cary Elwes as Guilford Dudley? I remember loving it!!!

No, I haven't seen it but it is on my Netflix queue. It sounds good. Lady Jane Grey is fascinating! I find that whole time period fascinating though especially recently.

I go through various time periods of obsession -- the Tudor age is always up there -- all the political machinations and all the strong women vying for power.

Yes, Yes. I'm really liking the book I'm reading now. Starts in Boston in 1765, a female tavern keeper rescues a British Lord from drowning and then he saves her from the angry Boston mob since she saved him. They marry and go to England and it's just a great read. She's a great character.

I'm conducting an experiment this morning. I'm not waking Marc up. I swear the man would sleep until 2PM if I let him. I keep telling him he sleeps too much so that is why I wake him up, I am going to prove a point this morning.

What is that one called?

Connor is well on his way to being another Marc -- the past three days he has slept until 11:00, 9:30, and today it was 10:30! He is in bed by 11:00 most nights! He is definitely my sleeper!

A Catch of Consequence by Diana Norman.

He's still snoring away and it's 10:44! Urgh. When we were dating, he would get home from work and be in bed by 9AM, then he would sleep until 8 or 9PM before he had to go to work. Ridiculous. I know he works overnight but the man would sleep his life away. Now when he works, he sleeps from 9AM till about 5PM, much more reasonable and he's much more active.

So I totally just ordered way too many books on Amazon...I intend to catch up with you ladies so we can have book discussions. I love the Tudor time period and I loved the Other Boyeln Girl and have ordered all the rest of her books plus the ones you guys have mentioned today...I'm going to love reading!!

Now that I'm done with all my Sookie books, I'm ready for the next series or any book you all are ready to suggest! :thumbsup2
