No1 Lounge Gatwick 2 for 1 with Caxton FX Currency Card

Not sure if anyone is interested in this but I figured I'd share...

I got an email today from Caxton FX as I just got a currency card with them a few weeks back for our trip.

They are offering a 2 for 1 lounge access for Caxton Card holders. You can book online but you have to show your card when you arrive.

2 Adults and 1 Child - £15! To be honest, it'll probably cost you more than that for breakfast for the 3 of us and we can snag a few drinks for the flight!

If you're an existing Caxton FX user or you're considering a currency card, might be worth a look

Just a quick note if you're planning to take some drinks for the flight, we were in there the other week (north terminal) and all the soft drinks were on fountains, so couldn't take bottles / cans out. This is different to the one at heathrow , where you could fill your boots!

Still, there's plenty of food there to get stuck into, and much better than sitting in a departure lounge, so £15 is still a good deal!!

Great, thanks for that tip! I thought I may be scuppered by fountain drinks I figure for £15 for the 3 of us, just a comfortable place to sit, WiFi and a bit of grub will be worth the price. We actually have breakfast paid for at the hotel so maybe I'll just snag some snacks for the plane

Haha! We had breakfast in our hotel as well, so I ended up having 2 !! You get a choice of a hot breakfast snack (bacon roll or similar), then there are pastries, fruit, cereal etc. so it's pretty good. We get up to 6 visits per year in the lounge as part of Barclays premier account so it works well for us. Enjoy...

I just wanted to give a little update on this because I would hate for anyone else to run with this offer on my previous post.

I have now discovered this offer is a scam. They switch the price on your once you've made a reservation. Don't bother!!!
