no WL concierge for Thanksgiving

We are staying at VWL on DVC points over Thanksgiving and wanted to do the last 2 nights on the WL concierge level. Tried to book through DU--no concierge avaiable this far out--I was very surprised. Does anyone have any idea why? Since we will be at VWL I didn't want tohave a big resort change, but maybe I should try somewhere else. Beth

if you are changing rooms, you might as well change resorts!
the hassle is no bigger!
to change form vwl to a concierge room at the WL, it is the same as moving to another resort! you have to pack up everything, check out, have the bellman store your luggage, and then check in at WL concierge. same routine as if you switched resorts!!!!

as far as why they arent bookin this far out, strange... maybe they are thinkin of cancelling it, it sure doesnt get much review, maybe it doest get a great response.
thanksgiving is only 7 months away!
I booked YC concierge a few months ago for thanksgiving!
