I posted on another message board (vegas related) that 3 glasses of red wine really relax you. I got a bunch of snippy replies. One person said hell that is an entire bottle of wine. Well there was still some left and years ago I drank wine from a box (franzia) and I had it in giant tumblers. So shoot me for not knowing I downed a bottle of wine LOL. I couldn't believe I got such flack on a sin city website!!

Oh, I know and I just don't get the sanctimonious attitude over alcohol some people have. We always have plenty of good food and drink around especially during the holidays. Conversation with my MIL flows so much more smoothly after I've had a few cocktails.
I'm going to have to remember that line - it's a classic.

I hate it when people are all about alcohol - it's my Christmas and I'll drink if I want to! I have to cook a huge meal tomorrow, entertain both my family and the in-laws and try to keep my cats off the Christmas table - alcohol is a necessity!

I just checked our stock - we have eight bottles of wine, two bottles of champagne, 4 cases of beer and a full bar! Merry Christmas!

A glass or two of wine relaxes me enough so that I'm not freaking out over every detail and whether or not people are getting along. The sanctimonious people are frustrating to me as well! Indeed it is the season to be jolly and one day of imbibing does not an alcoholic make! lol
