No trick-or-treating in our community this year

For the past several years, our local mall has "Trick or Treat"...each store gives away candy.

I would contact maybe a few next door neighbors and do VERY special treat bags for a handful of kids....do the Bobbing for apples in someone's garage...there's plenty of things that could be done with a little creativity.

I think you could take them trick or treating now given last night's events. I mean, you really can't ban them from going outside.

Our kids go to a community center for a party instead of door to door. It's easier and safer even if its not real trick or treating.
