Have any of you been really busy lately that you never get enough sleep and always are so tired at school, or is it just me??------I can't wait for my trip to Disney next month for some needed down time!!

That was me last year. I would have work taking me till around 1 in the morning and sadly I wasn't alone. Other kids who followed a similar schedule to mine had incredible amounts of work.

This year it isn't work keeping me, it's me keeping me up haha. I don't usually go to bed until late but I'm not usually that tired during the day...despite getting up at 5 in the morning.

It happens to me when I'm stressed, which is becoming more often.

i'm always tired i can go to bed at any time and wake up at any time and still be tired (once slept for 15 hours and woke up tired)

I'm always tired. I wake up tired. I can sleep for days and still wake up tired.

Oh, I agree.

This week I've had / have

Slideshow (Wednesday in at lunch)
Stage crew (Monday at lunch, tonight at 8, next monday..)
Leadership (Tuesday at lunch, today until 2:30, then again 5:30 to 9)
Volleyball tryouts (Monday, Tuesday and next Monday)
Writing the homework in a blog everyday after school
Homework.

Between all that, I have to eat, sleep, have alone time and use the washroom xD

last febrauary and march, i had soooooooooo much to do! monday and wednesday=volleyball, tuesday and thrusday=basketball, saturday and sunday=either basketball, softball, or volleyball, and friday was my ONLY day off. i was always exhausted! but now, i am down to one sport! (for now! :guilty: )

I agree with Sparx; no matter how much I sleep, I always seem to be tired when I wake up. I'll spend up to an hour in bed after I've woken up, because I'm just too tired to drag myself out of bed (this is on weekends; I don't have much of a choice on school days).

I have endless amounts of work.. in 2 ap classes this year, so thats crazy amount and the all the rest of my classes are honors and art classes.

I have done 3 all nighters already and most likely will have another all nighter, gotta love junior year.

Junior year is THE worst of all years. I have heard that from nearly everyone I have talked to and I, myself, can confirm that as I, too, found my Junior year as the worst.

I thank God I am rounding an end to my high school career! :woohoo:

I'm a Junior this year and it is by far the hardest year ever!!! I am taking 7 classes one of witch is a college course and the rest of my teachers treat their class like a college course almost and then as a junior at my school you have to write a 15 page Junior Research Paper and the paper has to tie in history and a litterature book. right now we are just starting that and my topic is 'the logics used in criminal cases to sentence the criminals' and I am going to do it during the period with the salem witch trials. The paper is due feb. 1. And also as a junior you are required to take a public speaking course during one semester and you have to write a speach and then say it in front of the entire school during school meeting. But I dont have that class till the spring. So yes, I am extrememly stressed out and am getting little to no sleep.

same with me, I just had my astrophysics exam tuesday and I was so stressed about it. :( I got a C.

whats the difference between ap classes and honor classes?
Ap is Advanced Placement and counts as a college credit. Honors is just a really hard class.

It's happening to me- I've got a ton of work, especially since I'm in REACH (a class for advanced people- I don't know how to describe it), advanced math, the school musical, and a ton of other activities- violin, singing, etc.

Around here, you have to take the honors class before you can take the AP or duel enrollement.

Like with english I'm taking english I, Honors english II, AP/duel enrollment English III, and IV

I usually get 1-6 hours of sleep on the week days and about 7-9 hours of sleep on the weekends.
I'm not much of a sleeper. =D

all of my classes are college prep...

but yea...
so far, despite the heavy homework load, i've been able to finish practically all homework and manage to go to bed at 11:00 most of the time.

and like others, I will wake up exhausted

Elphie, where do you live, I've never heard it called REACH anywhere but here in this part of STL

anyway, I have got a ton of projects from a sccience teacher who had toaught for 32 years and is a total hippie... meant in a loving way. He is the best teacher around...

and REACH, and advanced math, except now I am getting tested to move up to the next year's advanced class, which is a drag, and my teacher is not the greatest, and cello auditions on monday, so I have to practice a whole bunch, and I have lessons on mondays, voleyball and soccer games and practices, and homework, so yeah, sleep is kind of short!

Sorry for that extremely disorganized post!

I'm always so tired everyday for the first 3 periods of the school day.
