My parents have taken over planning this trip to WDW... We leave on Saturday and I just talked to my Dad and he said he hadn't purchased any park tickets. We have ressies at POFQ and airlines booked and thats about it. He assumed we could just wait and buy the tickets once we got to the hotel or to the parks...What are my options??? Please help me- we're running out of time!:headache:

Buy your tickets once you get there? Some of the online discount places have overnight shipping, but I think once you pay for that you are probably better off just buying them there! I hope you have a great time! :goodvibes

I think you can pre-order on line direct from WDW and get a small advanced price discount. In the least, print out all the ticket options and decide on number of days, hopping or no hopping, exp or non-exp, so you aren't standing there with your jaws hanging open at the ticket booth!!! Don't forget you can always add hopping after the fact if you decide you need it after not getting it. HTH!!!

What if we only want to get one or two days with park hopper option and the rest with regular tix? Can we do that?

Just relax. It's not worth getting all worried about. Buying tixs when you get there will be less stress. The savings you get for buying in advance is very small.

You can purchase tickets once you arrive.

The park hopping option is $45 per person. It is a one time fee, which covers each day you have a ticket.

The site recommended by Mousesavers is in Orlando and they can be picked up at their location down there. www.undercovertourist.com We purchased ours online thru them with free shipping. I thought I remember reading somewhere they will deliver to your hotel as well.

I agree that park hoppers are worth it...especially if it is crowded at the park you are in, you can just hop to another. It will be easy enough to review your options and buy tix at the resort or parks. With the popularity of the dining plan, I would be worried about not having adrs if you were planning any table service meals, though!

There's no time to order tickets; just buy them at your resort or a park. They're only slightly more expensive than some online retailers. If you're not sure about Park Hoppers, that option can be added at any time.

Nope it's all or nothing. But it's only about $40 a ticket to add it...well worth it.

It's my understanding that she can mix-and-match, since they're apparently not staying as part of a package.

Tickets aren't a problem. If you don't have dining reservations in place, that's a problem! If you don't, have a castmember help you when you check in and they can make the ressies for you.

Hope you have a great trip!

Don't worry, there is no more advance purchase discount when you purchase directly from WDW so you can purchase tickets at POFQ without loosing a discount. This may work better for a large party because each family may want a different number of days and options.

There are some good reputable online companies that will give a small discount and free shipping, I have used undercover tourist three times and would recommend them. If you don't have time for shipping you can pick them up at a couple locations in FL just google the name if your interested or check mousesavers.com.

I would do some research with regard to what you want to purchase in advance as there are soooo many options. Allears has a great resource page on tickets inluding all the options and prices;

http://allearsnet.com/pl/ticket.htm#2

I would recommend purchasing the tickets at the resort rather than guest relations outside your first park. You will be inside and the lines won't be as long so you can take your time and make sure you purchase what you need. Remember that you can add options to your tickets anytime within 14 days but you can't downgrade.

Do I do this through the concierge at POFQ? Or the front desk?

WEll, WE have one princess lunch in Norway ADR's, but other than that we were just going to "wing it"... :confused3

You could but it would be more expensive!

The tickets come on one card with X # of days, base (1 park per day) or park hopper. If you are not sure you can omit the park hopping and add it if/when you decide to vist two parks in one day. Park hopping costs a flat $45 no matter how many days are involved.

You could of course purchase two separate passes, one with hopping for say 3 days and one without hopping for say 2 days. Since the price per day decreases the more days you add it would cost considerably more than the flat $45 for the park hopper.

The allears page I linked above has all the prices - but I am not going to do the math on a georgeous Friday morning :) sorry

When you check in, the CM will ask if you want to purchase tickets. S/he can give you the options then and you can make the purchase at that time.

For dining, you'll do that through the concierge. We stayed at POFQ a few weeks ago. It was wonderful. Have a great time.

Thanks- I'm more excited than my kids!

Please know that your dining options will be VERY limited for table service meals. I see you have small children so eating dinner at 9:0pm is not something you are going to want to do. Eating Counter Service gets really old really fast. Kids can only eat so much mac and cheese or chix nuggets. I suggest making a list of a couple of restaurants you would like to eat at and then call 407wdwdine and see what is available.

GOOD LUCK!!!!
