All those hotel rooms, and they only have two double beds or two queen beds for a family of four. I have teenage boys that aren't about to share a bed. And we can't afford two rooms. It's frustrating! How does your family handle this?

Well - there are lots of suites on Disney property:teeth:
Also, WL and AKL have bunk beds and most of the Deluxes have day beds in addition to the 2 Queens.
There are also DVC Villas which are available to non-DVC members at a nightly rate. The 2-BR WL Villas might be a good match for your family...

Yup, there are alot of suites & deluxe rooms. AKL and WL have bunk beds. There are also the cabins at FW which sleep 6. Some people also just get 2 rooms at the value resorts.

Also, many deluxe resorts have day beds, which would sleep 1 person at night. The Contemporary does, not sure who else.

I know poly has a day bed. What about 2 rooms at a Value resort it normally is less then a Deluxe & sometimes moderates are too.

I tell my kids they have to share a bed or I'll make arrangements for them to stay home. Thney can also save enough money and pay for their own room.

If you can't afford two rooms then you can't afford a suite. Suites are priced higher then getting two rooms. Consider getting a value room and get two of those. You get two bathrooms and 4 beds.

:rotfl: :rotfl: Kudos...

We just returned from a 9 night stay at CSR where we had to book 2 rooms because we are a family of 5. That was the greatest vacation experience ever! All the kids had a bed of their own, we had 2 tvs, 2 bathrooms and lots of space. We were able to get an AP discount and only paid around $150. per night total. And we got there a day earlier than we expected and were still able to get the AP discount for that same night.

Unfortunately those options are a bit pricier than what we can do right now. Thanks for the suggestions everyone. We're gonna have to stick with Springhill Suites. It's just $89 a night for all of us.

Check out the Dolphin or the Swan. They have jr. suites (I think they would fit your family). I am unsure of price but if you havea teacher or nurse in the family it may work out using the "special" rate they give to you. good luck!

You could also look into renting points from a Vacation Club member and staying in one of the "Home Away From Home" resorts. We rented points for a two-bedroom villa at the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge in December. We'll have two bedrooms, a sleeper sofa in the living room, two bathrooms, and a full kitchen. We love the Wilderness Lodge in December, so we are really looking forward to it! We got a great deal on the points, so, for five nights, it's not costing us much more than 5 nights in one of the regular Wilderness Lodge rooms would! We never would have been able to afford the two bedroom villa otherwise.
