No standard views left on BB for next year?

My DH is at WDW (non vacation reasons)and is booking a BB for our family to do free dining next year. We were looking at checking in any day between 9/29-10/1 and there were no standard view rooms left at any of the moderates. So we did a Pool view at POR. I just thought it was strange that the standard views were gone already. Just a head's up to anyone looking at those dates for the BB's when they go this month. I don't know if any more open up or how they do that so thought I would let people know.

They probably offered very few standard rooms for the free dining BB. They want you to book more expensive room categories in order to receive free dining. That's how they get you.

I got a standard room at CBR for 10 nights but it was for checking in on 8/26. I booked it last week when we were staying at CBR.

We booked a room only BB last December for BWI for this coming November. They didn't offer any standard views either. Only waterview or club level standard view. As Disneylover99 pointed out, there may be standard rooms available at the resort, they just weren't included in the bb offer.

There were also standard rooms available for CSR for our dates of Aug. 26. - Sept. 2, but no standard rooms available for POR.

I think availability of standard views depends on your dates and resort. My sister was able to book a standard view at POR with the current FD BB for her dates in June.

Just left CBR. We booked a BB standard view at POR for 9/10-9/17 for next year

Well, I guess our dates were either more popular or they didn't offer as many standard rooms. We changed our arrival date within a 5 day stretch and nothing. This is the end of Sep/beginning of Oct. It looks like earlier dates have more left unfortunately we can't travel those times. Oh well,we'll still enjoy our trip with my DSis and her family.
