no standard rooms at Duleux resorts

So been trying to get the room at BC in Feb next year (honeymoon). I literally logged on multiple times over the last few days and there are no standard rooms at all for any deluxe hotels bar AKL - just club level and suites. it doesn't say that the standard rooms are exempt from the dining package but getting worried now. We held out for the free dining but now worried that was a mistake.

I cannot believe that every standard room at the BC, YC, BI, GF, CR and PR are sold out for feb when things are relatively quiet.

Any idea what's going on?

Room rates are not out yet for 2020 so they will show as not available online or in the App for 2020 dates until the rack rates are released. Usually June-July time frame. You can book a room only up to 499 days out via phone.

Sorry, you didn't mention you were from the UK, there's a whole different set of rules for you folks. They usually only include the higher priced rooms that are harder to sell in the Free Dining. Standard rooms are usually not included.

Yep...you're not generally going to get a standard room AND free dining.

You'll be there during Mardi Gras. All of Louisiana schools are out for the week, and lots of folks head to WDW during that time.

Doesn't say that they're excluded on the terms and conditions. and you can get them later in the year just not anytime between jan and may for some reason. if they would of said they were excluding them I wouldn't of held out. it says the poly and contemporary are excluded but none of the others

Then they only included a very small number of the Standard rooms in the Free Dining discount and they are now gone. They only have to include a single room in any given category to avoid having to list that category in the exclusions.

It never says that they are not available. There may well have been a few included, but when they are gone....they are gone. You will see the resorts that are included and sometimes you will see the excluded resorts.

Have you kept an eye out for Garden (or Woods) view rooms? They are usually only a little more than Standard, but much less than Water view rooms.

Agree. And they don’t have to include them for all dates of the year. So since OP is seeing them later in the year, they may just not had any included for her dates.

OP, if a room category is pretty well sold for certain dates, they don’t have to offer discounts for that time period. But if it is included for later in the year, it will not be listed as “excluded”. Since February has lots going on, the rooms may be pretty well booked at rack rate, thus not available those dates.

One other thing I noticed at Y & B, they seemed to have reduced the number of rooms that are classified as standard. There used to be lots of standard rooms & only a few garden view rooms. Now that seems to be reversed: more garden, fewer standard.

Is there anything at all in the T&C about all room types?
