I just read the post "Waah..No rooms the second week December" This seems bizarre to me because I thought that the first two weeks of December were the slowest of the year at WDW. Historically, I know that this has been the case. Why the sudden change? We vacation in August at WDW and usually wind up extending our vacation and adding nights to our reservations while we are at WDW. I guess we won't be able to do that in December. Does anybody know anything about this??? Seems like it may be more crowded in December (before XmasWeek) than in August!!!

Hello. I have just been researching for my trip from 29/11 to 9/12 and I discovered your post. I have learnt that a group of football and cheerleading children from an organisation called Pop Warner have their annual superbowl and championships at WDW from 8-14th Dec and it dawned on me that this is the reason you might be having problems. I am relieved that this is taking place later than last year which was 2-8th Dec 'cos we would have caught all of it! I understand that the kids stay mainly at All Stars but a search might help you rule out where you would come into contact with them!!!!! hope this helps with your planning.
