No rooms available?

Is it really possible that nothing is left for October 15-18? We are doing a last minute trip. We have a room through a conference for the 18-23, but there is nothing available for the first few days. Any suggestions? We are a family of 5 (2 adults, 10 year old, 7 year old, and 4 year old.)

not optimal, but I see that the GF Villas and Bay Lake Tower are available? You could always check at a downtown Disney hotel or bonnet creek? I am assuming you will be on property for the conference....so you could go from off to on....

I see some hotels on hotels.com that are on Hotel Plaza Boulevard....that could be an option....also the embassy suites that looks southwestern is over across the way from the back entrance to DTD.....

I did a quick check and found family suites available at both AoA and ASMu. Didn't check POR or CBR. The size of your party eliminates the other mods and values.

If worse comes to worse, you might be able to rent points through a DVC member and book for that time period.

Try searching through Orbitz. That's how I got a reservation, even though Disney was showing no availability. Orbitz has a special right now on stays of more than one night. Use the promo code packyourbags for 15% off.

When I was looking for a room last week for our November trip (11/7-11/12), I checked DVC through an owner. He said there were random rooms available for a night or two, but not enough consecutive nights for me to bother with. October 12 is Columbus Day, so lots of schools have several days off at that time, including colleges. You might just want to consider offsite.
