no rooms 5/11-5/18???

My family and I have 3 rooms booked at pop century 5/11-5/18. We are looking to upgrade but it seems there are no rooms left anywhere?? The only rooms we could find were at OKW and its a bit out of our price range? Is anyone else finding this problem?? We are a little bummed out!!

The only other room I found not at a value and a bit cheaper was at AKL, but it's still similar to the OKW price.

we will be at the YC may 10 thru 17, I booked this in
march when the AP rates came out. Since then, just
for curiosity, I went on the website to see what
conceirge rooms would be, and I found the same thing-
looks like everythings booked up!!! (and has been for
about 2 weeks now) I do believe, my dis-buddies, that
we are in for a super busy time!!! which is
okay, since it is our first WDW trip, we won't know the
difference, the more the merrier (I hope!)

It does indeed look like the moderates are at capacity the second week of May. I even checked for CM rates and there was nothing available at the Mods. The value still had a good selection. I'm glad we are at Pop for that second week. Sounds like it will be crazy and packed over at the moderates.

It looks like POFQ is available 5/12-5/18 if you wanna change hotels after the first night. akl was available the whole time. btw POFQ is also available on the 19 if you could shift your vacation a day.

looked it up on waltdisneyworld.com $165 a night.

looks like its gonna be a busy place, thanks for the replies guys, i think AKL is a little to pricey for my fam...although I'd love to stay there.

Try for a shorter time frame. Transfer to the hotel during mid-stay. My guess is that if you try a later date of arrival you will find availability.

I know how you feel. I wanted to stay at All Star Movies 5/10-512 and they were booked. So We will be at Pop Centruy also. I didn't know May so such a bust time to go. Maybe I'll meet you at the hotel if you stay there

We are at POP that week by default too. Really wanted a moderate. But still would rather be at POP that at home dreaming of WDW.

The Danskins Triathalon in happening the weekend of May 14 so that is accounting for some of the room demand. Keep checking back with CRO and trying for the resort you want. It wouldn't surprise me if some rooms become available as some athletes may need to cancel their reservations over the next few weeks, or as blocks of rooms that have been set aside for the triathalon are returned to Disney.
