No room at Pop?

I went on the Disney site to see if I could book a room for someone who want's to stay at Pop late Sept. It took me to AS. Is the free dining affecting the crowds this much? We went last Sept. with free dinning and it wasn't that bad.We stayed at Pop then. Just kind of surprized me. Glad I booked months ago for POR.

The Disney site is notorious about not giving certain resorts at times. The only way to figure out if there is room or not is to call the main reservation line and talk to someone about it. They would be able to tell you what is available and not.

We are staying at the POP 9/22 - 9/30 and the only thing available was preferred. That is ok because I'll have my elderly Dmom with me. This was through AAA.

the food/wine starts 9/28 - also for the first time MNSSHP is in Sept....

I tried this morning to get a room at Pop for 2 nights Sept. 29 & 30 for a couple wanting to go and the CM said NO room with/without a code.

The same thing happened to my sister. They wanted POP and CRO said nothing was available except for at the Mods. She called everyday until something came up a POP. I called this past Wednesday (July 5) to get a room for the weekend (July 7 - 10) and got it. It really pays to keep calling.

Just FYI...when I booked our trip a few weeks ago for the end of Sept., we wanted to stay at the ASMo but they didn't have rooms (online) so I fooled around and edited my stay and long story short...I added ONE day to my stay (checked in a day earlier) and VOILA...ASMo was suddenly "available." So fool around online and see if you can work it out...you can always cancel that extra day later on...as long it is further than 45 days out from the start of the trip.
