So here is the problem. My sister applied with me for the CP and she has a no rehire status from Disneyland. Long story short it basically was not her fault because her manager kept loosing her paperwork (she wanted to go down to a seasonal) so she had to quit because she left for school. Anyways, she applied for the CP they sent her a paper asking her why we wanted to be rehired. She did, and they didn't accept her. Is there anything that she can do at this point. Lets just say she is heartbroken, I got accepted and I was thinking about calling to see if there is anything anyone can do for her. She really wanted this and made that apparent in her letter. :confused3

I don't know exactly what to do, but since noone else responded I just wanted to give you (and her) some support. You might as well contact them and try.....the worst thing that could happen is they don't do anything...but I think if they see that she is serious, maybe even if she explains the entire situation (if she hasn't already in the letter) and shows her once again that this is important to her.

Hopefully it's just a test to see if she really cares and if she contacts them one more time, she will pass! :) Maybe not...but the least you can do is try!

I just had a situation with a CP that had a "no rehire" status. Without going into too much detail, at this point only her former managers or a current recruiter can help. Unfortunately, it might not even have much to do with her hiring status, but just the fact that there is no shortage of CPs. Sometimes they just make an executive decision to not take a chance on people with negative records. Good luck to you and your sister! The hiring process can be really discouraging but hopefully you guys will find someone who can help you!

Thanks guys. She e-mailed them about it and said that she would be willing to go down to Disneyland and get that rehire status back. They forwarded her e-mail, so we shall see. She really wants it, and I know it shows through the letters.

I have no idea what to say, but wanted to tell you and your sister good luck!
