Resort Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

I will add (1) major difference between the Atrium (12th floor), and the Tower Club (14th floor) that has not been covered by @focusondisney or @trishadono.

The Atrium floor is the top floor over looking the Atrium space all the way down to the 4th Floor, and the Tower level has an enclosed floor with no view down inside the Atrium for those guests that may not like looking over the railing down to the 4th floor below due to concerns with heights.

Dave

Nope, I mentioned that, just didn’t call out the heights issue. ;)

Hey you!!! 💝I don't get on here much myself..but it sure is nice to "see" you! 😊 Glad that you enjoyed a tower club stay..I'm a big fan too...
Couldn't agree more about trishadono's grand baby..have had the pleasure of spending time with her...and her grandma...lol..and she sure is an adorable little princess 👑
Thank you!
Adding my 2 cents on the deluxe queen RPC rooms...I think that 43/4419 and 20 are all HA rooms now..both 4419 & 20 definitely are..a change after the most recent reno...previously 43/4419 were the only queen deluxe HA rooms...

I found this of 4319. I would prefer not to have one of the HA rooms normally but baby will be able to crawl up and down herself. So she will love it.
Trishadono and Maxie86..see ya real soon friends!! ✨
Yeppers!

Hi @mickeynut1 - nice to see you around.
Hey there ....thank you, it's good to be back! Nice to see you as well :goodvibes.
I got a call from GF CL for my stay 5/3-4. I did not get one for my poly cl stay 5/1-3. Does not really matter to me. Just posting in case it’s important to you.

Also I emailed DSS and requested a 4th floor room for GF. Food /lounge is on that floor and with a baby and stroller would be helpful. I never did receive a response from DSS (1st time after many trips) however they did see that request in the notes. The gf elevator is slow because non RPC use it from the lobby all the time.
That stinks about Poly CL. I enjoy getting that call just before a trip :goodvibes

Would you mind posting the DSS email? I don't usually make requests, but I do have 1 or 2 I wouldn't mind having noted for our upcoming August trip.

Hey there :wave2:....nice to "see" you as well! We loved tower club!! Stayed Atrium Club about 7 years ago and while we enjoyed it, nothing compares to the quiet/less hectic tower club lol.
Thanks for the info on deluxe queen RPC rooms. I wasn't looking for a deluxe room as it's just my DH & I, but that was the only option for our dates under the BB. I really don't want an HA room but with the changes, it looks like my chances are greater for HA vs non-HA :(. We don't go until August so I'll just keep checking/hoping something else becomes available.
Thank you!

I also came across that video. That's actually what got me questioning how many of those HA rooms there are as I don't know much...if anything...about the HA rooms. Thanks again for all the help/info :flower3:

I just want to say hi too @mickeynut1 - :yay: It is always nice to "see" you here.

Well, I have finally broken down and booked a club level room at rack rate, for now. I have never done that before! We are going for my granddaughter’s cheer competition in late January to early February. She will be in high school and will need to stay with the team, so her parents can stay anywhere they want. They booked a one bedroom suite at the Beach Club with club access. My oldest granddaughter, Lucy wants to stay in our room, so my husband said we may as well book it! I will check for discounts along the way, but the things we do for our grandchildren…….. Her brother will stay with his parents.

The things that we do for Grandchildren, and even our Children.

I will note that you have leverage on your Children as you will be on the floor with the Stone Harbor Club, you might offer for them to join you at your table since it will faster, and more convenient for you to access the lounge. 8-) :duck:

I hope a discount opens up for you between now and late January.

We were just at CR Tower Club (14) a few weeks ago, I posted some pictures of the foods. We weren’t as impressed with the foods this time, but that’s just due to our own food preferences

Just chiming in to say I sort of agree with you here. Big picture I think CR CL does a solid job overall so nothing I say should be taken too seriously. But I liked the food better back when it was California Grill prepared. In recent years when it moved to Chef Mickey’s kitchen prepared it feels a little more mass produced and a little salty for my tastes. I would still rate it pretty high among the CLs though, but I find ourselves partaking in lounge fare less and less (some of that is the food, some of that is just phase in life where we like to go out to places).

Also I will rarely speak ill of CR 14, but to be fair I have had a spate of recent trips with annoyingly noisy neighbors. Those connecting doors are no bueno at times. I really don’t know if it’s “people these days” or we just pick up on different things over time, but it’s been more noticeable lately.

I do think 14 is most occupied these days - it wasn’t all that long ago it wasn’t bookable online and frankly hard to find real info other than the occasional message reports. These days information is so readily available and bookable.

It’s all good, still the same great views and people.

Second question, is the CL 12th floor Theme Park view? If so, do they pipe in the music for the fireworks?

I’m not sure I saw any replies to this part (may have missed it).

The music is piped in to the lounge. If you happen to have a room close to/next to the lounge you can sometimes pick it up from your balcony. If not you can tune in to the TV (channel number escapes me at the moment, scroll down to channel that says Fireworks, it’s only a few down from the first channel), leave the door open and crank it up.

In my experience audio conditions can vary a lot depending on temperature and wind direction. Sometimes you can pick up on the audio coming down from the Cali Grill balconies, sometimes you can’t. Sometimes you can hear it from MK if the wind is blowing in the right direction and it will create an echo with what you hear from CR as the timing will be slightly off, sometimes you can’t hear anything from MK at all. It’s surprisingly variable but you can almost always adjust to make it a good show.

Enjoy your trip! :smickey:

I’ve noticed that too recently. Occasionally they’ll throw in some salads and stuff from steakhouse 71, but there is a lot more that is coming off the chef Mickey’s buffet lately. I do think they’ve improved chef mickeys lately though so there that at least. I still think CR CL is a good experience with consistently good food.

I liked it last time I was there (2 nights, and may say something about my taste 🤣), but I was neighbor-free. That said, I’m always low-key checking for RPC….

No, you have good taste. I always like it too (except those coddled eggs). It just to be a little more “chef-driven”, but I think they’ve tried to standardize all the CL’s a little bit more recently. Never gotten to try RPC, but your pics always make me want to.

Sounds like a fun trip!

The day they got rid of the coddled eggs was a great day, indeed!! I will say, I think CR has great charcuterie and the sushi is always a winner for me. That chimichurri beef is yum, as well. RPC has the Citricos short ribs, though….

Poly has

Poly has the sticky chicken wings like I get at Tambu…..

I have to say I’m still thinking about the desserts at YC CL last trip. :cloud9:

I’m at SYR waiting to go see DGD for her 1 year birthday. Thank you ds28 for volunteering to take me to the airport. Now I land at 4:10 and NOT past the baby’s bed time at 9p. See you soon !

Then a poly/ gf split? I do love those. I know the lounge gets busy at poly but location for beach, pools, boat, mono and walk to TTC is so nice. Yes I will be holding her to watch EWP wrapped in her blankie tomorrow. Then bed for her and HEA watching for dd and me.

Shes eating so many foods now. Cl will be fun. It’s like WDW is all new for me now. Yet like it was 30 years ago too.

Looking forward to this trip so much. Love my girl time!

I’ll try to get food pix at poly if not too busy. Gf I think others have covered. Any requests? Let me know.

@mrsap put some info on outer building suites at GF on her GF thread. I added some pix from a 1 bedroom TPV outer building suite over there if interested.

Any update or even rumors on when the Hawaii Longhouse will gets it stair's replacement would be very welcome.

Also any update on what is is going on with the Wailulu roof so soon after it just opened in Dec, 2024, and the day to day impact on dining. At this point all we know is that it open at 5 PM Dinner seating.

I will work on my list for the GF so please stay tuned... :chat:.
