No Philadelpha Disney Quest.

No sadly there is no Disney Quest in Philadelphia. It was planned and close to happening but it fell thru.
I so wished they had I would have been there alot.

I moved here about the time that they were going to put it in. I was so excited that there would be a piece of Disney right near me. So sad that it never happened though.

It is a shame the idea didn't take off. It's a nice alternative to regular theme parks. There is/was? a Sega World in London, but far fewer games and you had to pay for everything you wanted to do - we didn't stay long

They used to have the game where you get to design your own coaster at DLRP, it's so cool. I used to love coasters but since getting older my stomach doesn't agree. I love the way you don't have to go hundreds of feet in the air and risk life and limb

We visited the DisneyQuest in Denver a few times whenever we went to see family ... so sad when it closed. Funny that the article never even mentions THAT location!

the plans went out the window when Rendell left philly and Street came in - Thank goodness for Nutter at least! he is doing some great work so far!

Yep! Where's the magic there?? I really think Disney Quest would have done well here.

The Comcast building took the cake though. Greenest building in the world has all those pipes in the walls because the unions just HAD to have something to do on the project. All that wasted copper material that will NEVER be used!

The unions are ridiculous. A pipe burst in my basement once. My landlord replaced it it with a pvc pipe (or whatever the letters are!). Perfectly acceptable in my mind and used EVERYWHERE else, but in philly you normally have to hire a plumber to put in one of those more expensive and labor instensive pipes.
