No Parties Thanksgiving Week??

I just saw the dates for the Christmas Party and there aren't ANY during Thanksgiving week? I swear I've been there for that week before and been to the party! What's up with that? Is it just because the crowds are higher? I'm pretty bummed that within the 8 days I'll be there there isn't one party! Is that normal?

They never have parties Thanksgiving week. The parks are too busy to close early.

If you've been to one that week, you must have caught it at the end of the week before or the beginning of the week after.

Trust me, if Disney could get away with squeezing one in, they would.

LOL true about squeezing one in. I guess I don't really mind, I went two years ago and I'm sure I can find another way to spend that money! LOL

From my experience, the last party before Thanksgiving is the Friday before and they don't start back up until Sunday after Thanksgiving. My parents went to the one on Sunday last year.

Did they say how busy the Sunday one was? We are debating between Sunday after Thanksgiving or Tuesday. I'd like to go it on Sunday but if the crowds will be significantly less, I'll go on Tuesday.

We have gone to the one on Sunday after Thanksgiving before. If I could choose, I'd probably pick Tuesday. I would think a lot of Thanksgiving travelers are still there on Sunday (schools here get Monday after off as well).

I have been previously to the one on Sunday as well, but I would admit the one on Tuesday will be less crowded; however, it is amazing how much emptier the parks seem on Sunday and Monday. From my experience, most people leave on Saturday and Sunday. I think either day is good, the one concern I would have is if you are leaving Wednesday and go to the Tuesday one will result in not a fun morning of packing and leaving.
