Downtown Disney!!
Hi guys! I guess I should stop apologizing for taking forever to update here, huh? Since it seems like that's how things are going lately lol! I think I'm going to try to finish up my February TR before I update here again so it might be a couple of weeks before another update! I know you guys will be hanging on the edge of your seats lol!
It's just hard doing 2 TR's at once so since I'm so close to the end of the Feb. trip, I figure I'll finish that one up, and then I'll be able to totally concentrate on this one!
When we left off, Brandon and I just left the Magic Kingdom and went back to POR to rest and do some laundry. Exciting stuff right? We were getting hungry and didn't know where to eat, so I suggested Downtown Disney. So after our laundry was dry and put away, we were off to DTD!
I'm pretty obsessed with Earl of Sandwich, but we had already been there on this trip and I wanted to try someplace new. Somewhere that DIS'ers rave about. Where?
Wolfgang Puck Express!!! I have read SO many TR's with people freaking out about this place and how good it is, so I had to try it! Brandon didn't care, I think he secretly wanted Earl of Sandwich again, but he didn't argue lol!
We went in and ordered and then sat down. I love that this place is a quick service, yet they bring you your food! And they have sweet tea, which is awesome for me! It's a good thing I don't live in the south, because I would be addicted to sweet tea!
After a few minutes, our food arrived! Brandon got the Cavatappi Chicken Alfredo:
and I went with the Spaghetti and Meatballs!
And for dessert, we both got the creme brulee:
I loved everything, I thought it was so good! The meatballs were perfect, and the sauce on the spaghetti was great! Brandon, however, wasn't impressed. I guess he was expecting more, he said it was ok, but not great. I don't know what he was talking about, because I tried his food and I liked it! His standards are just way too high I think!
We finished eating and went to check out some shops. I went in my favorite store on Disney property, the Christmas shop!
I'm obsessed with this place! Give me a job there, and I will die happy!
I can't remember if I bought anything there or if I just looked around...it's rare that I can walk out of the place without buying anything, but I think I tried to keep my ornament purchases to a minimum on this trip!
I think Brandon went into the sports store while I was in the Christmas store, so when I was finished, I went into the kitchen store next to Earl of Sandwich for a minute to look at the mugs. I really wanted one of these
but I didn't buy one because I have like 10,000 Disney mugs already! Still, how cute is that????
I went into TrenD next
and just drooled over all of the shirts there! I love everything there, but I can't fit in anything! So I just browse and hope by my next trip I'll be smaller and will be able to buy half of the store!
I absolutely LOVED those shirts, and they actually fit me, so I was tempted to buy one, but I hated the thought of buying a huge size, so I didn't bother. They had Aurora, Cinderella, Belle and one other princess...Jasmine? Rapunzel? I really can't remember but they were beautiful!
I found Brandon in the Team Mickey shop and we went over to World of Disney, which Brandon is not a fan of. Not because he doesn't like the store, he does, but he doesn't like how I wander off in there! It's true, I am kind of like a kid in a candy shop in there and we get separated all the time, and I usually get a text that says he's waiting for me outside because he got tired of looking for me lol! I can't help it, there is just SO much to see!!
So of course, we got separated after about 5 minutes, and after me wandering around for another 15, I got that text saying he was outside waiting lol! I told him I wasn't ready to leave and he told me to take my time, but he wasn't coming back in. It was kind of busy and it was probably better if I was alone, so I could find what I was looking for and get out lol!
I ended up buying 3 things that night, and this was one of them:
An Alex and Ani Disney bracelet! I love them, they're so cute and really hard to find so when i saw the Minnie one, I had to grab it!
Once I paid, I went out to find Brandon and he was sitting on a wall, clearly ready to go back to the room! So we walked back to our car and went back to our room and went to bed! It was a long, tiring day, which was totally unexpected, but it was definitely one of my favorites of the trip! I mean, Tonga Toast! Unexpected MK visit! NEW FANTASYLAND!!!
Such an awesome day! And we still had 3 more days of Disney magic ahead of us!!!

glad you finally tried it!!
DH is actually more of a shopper than I am, but we both go nuts in World of Disney. I think if DS could, he would wait for us outside the store too.
