Sorry but all the hupula and nothing happens. How many time did I read an embattled CEO can't survive a no confidence vote greater then 20%. The whole business was an exercise in frustration. The "little" guy just can not compete, CEOs CYA each other and don't care what they take down with them. Maybe Disney desirves what they get. All I know that my family will not be staying at The Holiday Inn at Animal Kingodom

Another factor to consider is that (it is rumored) that Mr. Eisner had the board in his pocket. If that's the case, of course they're not going to vote him out of a job.

Personally, I think the best we can hope for is that he doesn't get his contract renewed in 2006.

Unfortunately, that appears to be the case.

Barring some behind the scenes wrangling we don't know about, the next chance for action might not be until the next annual meeting, if Roy and Co. put forth an alternate slate for the board.

Their chances for success then would depend on the company's performance over the next year, and who they sign up for candidates.

Not promising, and that's unfortunate for the company.

1) Michael is like a dog messing in the house.
2) No matter what you try, you can't get it out.
3) Eventually, it just goes away.

Yup- the fact that he is still there proves the very thing the company is denying.......Michael Eisner IS Disney management. Maybe if people on the outside DON'T give up and keep shaking his tree he will eventually tire of trying to hang on and bow out in 2006.
