No No!! Naughty kitty!

Ugh!! My cat Luxor just shredded my entire roll of toilet paper. I have pieces of it all over the bathroom. Little pieces and long strips. Some with holes in it. This is not the first time either.
How did he do this? Why did he do this? Is it a cry for attention? Have I been a bad cat owner?
Oh well, at least it's not as bad as when he scratched DH's speakers to shreds. That got ugly.
Time to head for Sam's Club for more t.p.!!!!

I don't think you're a bad cat owner. Two of my cats just love to play with TP (we have to keep it in the cabinets under the sink). They just think of it as another toy.

Ours has to be put up or else the youngest cat attacks it. I'm guessing she thinks she is protecting us from some aweful attacking toilet paper package!!!

DD24 has a kitty named Snickers who used to love ripping up the toliet paper. She would have a trail of TP all over DDs apartment when she came home from work. I got a good laugh over it. Lucky for me none of my cats ever did that.

My cats don't bother TP, but DammitRocko will climb into your pantleg if you don't latch the door tightly.

yup...our baby, Hazel, just loves the TP. She shreds it right off the roll.....

My cat absolutely goes bonkers when he sees a roll of paper towels on the floor. It's like catnip to him. When he first started doing this, i figured he was hugging it and shredding it with his back claws (the way he does when he wraps his body around our arm when we play fight). Nope! He shreds it with his teeth! Caught him in the act. Just glad he has not noticed the toilet paper.
