No More Subbing Out Your QS Beverage?

I was able to sub out my drink for a snack everywhere but Be Our Guest and D-luxe Burger in February (2017) but, from what I've been able to learn, this is no longer an option. Am I correct on this? What about at the resort?

Reports are that you should have good luck with this at resorts (especially if you have your mug with you), but that other CS locations aren't allowing this swap anymore, in general.

We got to do it in all the resorts we visited, but not in the parks.

Just FYI, I was in France at Les Halles about a month ago and they told the person behind me that they could get a drink or dessert.

I think that I would ask just to see - some seem to be allowing it and some not. Worst thing they can say is no.
