I am a female and I admit I started snoring a couple years ago. I was diagnosed with a mild case of sleep apnea. I only snore if I am on my back, so I toss from side to side all night. Sure wish I could sleep on my back, but I choke myself awake when I do. I think I will try one of those mouth guards because I am not ready for that machine yet. I'm not a really loud snorer, so I dont keep anyone awake (so I've heard, but I dread the day I snore as loudly as my mother). Then again, my husband is a heavy sleeper. He used to snore, but just stopped one day. I dont know why or how. Wish I knew. I am not even sure if I can sleep with something in my mouth. Is it bulky? Do you have to breath through your mouth when it's in? That would dry up my mouth and bother me, if so.
